Mount Of Transfiguration
I am leading you to a place where My glory dwells. I am taking you to your own personal Mount of Transfiguration within My all-consuming heart. It is not a mystical place, a faraway place or an ethereal place. It is a very common and yet uncommon place. It is not limited nor is it attainable by only a few. It is for whosoever will. Access is not limited to a select few. Most of all, it is not saved only for a promised day in the by and by. Transfiguration is for the here and now, for this very day, for this very moment and every moment after it. It even reaches back in time, for there is no time in Me. My transforming power heals the past, invades the present and procures the future.
Beloved, transfiguration brings about a dramatic change in appearance within and without. It is here, right now, for you! It is emerging and growing in increments. Transformation will change every aspect of your life. Sometimes it moves like a river, coming in a flood of progress within your heart. Other times it is barely discernable. At moments My transfiguring glory rests upon your inner most being with soft words carried by gentle winds. Ah . . . Holy Spirit does whatever it takes—gives whatever you need.
Many times My children keep their eyes glued to the horizon, looking for a cloud the size of a hand and miss the beauty close at hand. They look for the coming rain. This is not a wrong thing, yet it is not the whole thing. It is only a portion—only a fraction of the sum of many parts, only a small piece of My glory. Don’t be so future minded that you miss what I am doing in the here and now. Take time to slow down and acknowledge what I have already done and your faith will grow.
In the days to come I am going to bring you into a deeper revelation as you venture without hesitation into the place where My glory dwells. You will only lose what provides no benefit or causes harm to the destiny I planned for you. Old mindsets will fall away in favor of My thoughts. Prepare your heart and release all fear (cf. Psalm 118:6).
Child’s Collectibles
Beloved, I see your heart like a glass jar full of a child’s collectibles. Along with precious treasures it also holds a few stones left over from all the transformation taking place. Even though this is so, there are many, many treasures ready and waiting to be seen and used.
However, the enemy wants you to focus on the stones so he comes and rattles your jar. He does this in order to make you concentrate on the stones and not on the many treasures I have placed within you. He attempts to rattle them like a saber every time a move is on your part to rid yourself of hindrances. He tries to convince you that your heart is a heart of solid stone and he reminds you of the many areas not yet surrendered. He tells you it isn’t possible. He shakes the jar louder, hoping to deafen the sound of My voice as I tenderly speak your name—as I tenderly ignite the flames of your passionate heart.
It is true that your heart at one time was hard. Everyone’s heart is hard and dark until they are born into the Kingdom—until they walk in the light of My love. Yes, it was a piece of stone full of fissures. This did not cause Me pause in any way. No, instead it drew Me for I had a plan and used the fissures in your life. They were My entrance and I poured oil into them, breaking up the stony places of your heart into fallow ground.
With patience I have worked day and night, having no frustration in My task. I chipped and poured, chipped and poured. The stones in your jar are the little pieces left over and will all be taken care of. The enemy has other plans but I always prevail. He rattles the left over stones in order to convince you that your heart is indeed hard or unrelenting. He does this to robe you of true vision—to rob you of a sight capable of seeing all the treasure within, hoping you will perish (cf. Proverbs 29:18).
Every one of My children is susceptible to this in varying degrees. I am not saying there aren’t stones to remove. And rest assured I will leave no stone unturned. I do this with kindness, mercy and grace. The enemy likes to make mountains out of molehills and at the same time make serious things seem trivial. Nothing is too difficult or too simple for Me. Regardless, every stone needs to be removed or transformed.
Therefore, I have turned the tables on him and he is the only one going to be rattled in the transformation I have ordained change for your heart and life. Yes, I am rattling his cage instead. The battle has already been won. Death, hell and the grave are defeated. I have the keys (cf. Revelation 1:17-18). I have made an open spectacle of the enemy and I won’t stop doing so when it comes to your life and My plan for you (cf. Colossians 2:15). I am manifest and he is defeated in your life (cf. 1 John3:8). Agree with Me as I render Him mute on your behalf. Who I am in you is greater than the one who is in the world (cf. 1 John 4:4).
Rattle Your Cage, I Think Not
Beloved, know that you are not disqualified from the place of glory. You do not have a heart of stone. It has already been ground down into very easy to remove pieces. They are only little stones. You are only a stone’s throw away from victory at any given time. Don’t let the enemy make a big noise with such a small thing, or rattle your cage, so to speak.
On the other hand, do not be deceived in a different way, thinking because you might have known Me for such a long period of time means there are no stones. Denial, like fear, is also a robber and a deceiver. If you find yourself making excuses or justifications for anything, it is an indicator of stones collected along the way. This does not distress Me nor cause any disappointment in or with you. It just means there is a job to do.
It is for this purpose I have come to destroy the works of the evil one and have sent the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth (cf. John 16:13; John 14:25-27)). It is only when you obstinately refuse My help, under the guise of self-righteousness or fear, that I am grieved. It is not your stones that bother Me. It is the response of your heart to the promptings I give to accomplish your complete freedom. You are the habitation of My glory—My presence and it delights Me to reveal and remove any hindrance to complete wholeness and destiny.
Remember, the enemy roars like a lion. He is a big pretender. It is his nature to enlarge and threaten with fear of failure. As I said before, he makes mountains out of molehills. If he can convince you that your stone is a mountain, then the enemy produces a belief that you do indeed have a hardened heart—a heart of stone. In a sense it is his job to convince. It is what he does and who he is—a liar and deceiver.
You, on the other hand, are king and priest and it is your duty to refuse through the power of who you are in Me. Know the Word for it is your weapon of truth when he comes. Do as I did. Use the Word when the enemy comes to kill, steal or destroy. Use the Word and see his words, works and lies destroyed. Use the Word and see abundant life (cf. John 10:10). Every work of the enemy destroyed in your life makes it easier to see the treasures I have put in you. Arise and roar for I, the Lion of Judah, am on your side.
Repentance Is The First Key
Beloved, when it comes to transformation, repentance is the first key, and acceptance of My complete forgiveness is just as important. After all, forgiveness is the foundation of My sacrifice. The acceptance of the fact—to know I have given you a new heart will enable the removal of all hindrances, all stones left. Removal is done line upon line, precept upon precept and glory upon glory. And it is for the here and now not just for the day you come to be with Me. Yes, it is for you in the here and now, this glory of Mine.
Therefore, I am removing the stones from all compliant and humble hearts. I will also remove those from the incompliant, resisting hearts. It just takes a little longer as I convince them of their worth. Fear holds them back. Don’t be one who fears. If I, who gave My life for you, will not condemn you, who can? Forgive yourself as well as others and don’t go digging for stones! Leave the digging, the revealing, up to Me. I will only do so when the time is right for freedom. All you have to do is be responsive and let go. What a difference it would make if your mindset was that of a treasure hunter instead.
Remember, the longer you let the enemy rattle your jar—your heart—without a response, without fighting back, without being humble, the more gullible you become to his schemes and tactics. He is a deceiver of hearts and a robber of My glory. He comes to kill, steal and destroy but I come with abundant life (cf. John 10:10).
Make a decree and shout it to the heavens. Say, “I have a soft heart!” I promised to give new hearts and new spirits and replace stony hearts with hearts of flesh (cf. Ezekiel 11:19). When I said this I was talking about you. Accept the new heart I have given you as a fact. Your new heart holds all of Me and all of the passion of who I am. It understands line upon line. It understands glory upon glory and is not bogged down in self condemnation and fear. It is quick to repent and quick to put on its rightful identity. I have given you a new heart and you are already cleansed, only needing to wash the dust off your feet (cf. John 15:3). Your heart is My tablet and I am writing upon it today (cf. 2 Corinthians 3:3).
Kingdom Of God
Beloved, let us now go back to the place of My glory where I am leading you. Stop! Cease looking outward for a moment and let Me redirect your focus. Turn your face, not outward or upward, but turn your face inward. See the Mount of Transfiguration. It is your own heart where I dwell. Your heart is the habitation of My glory. My Kingdom dwells within you (cf. Luke 17:21).
Fear not and hear Me say, “You are My son in whom I am well pleased.” I am transforming your stony places into swords of power and might, displacing the space they occupied with more of My glory. Move up! Move out and be My passionate, glorious new heart to all you encounter. They need you to move in sync with Me, in unity with Me in order to see who I really am. When you know who you are in Me and who I am in you they can’t help but see, and see they will.
Imagine us moving as one in unison together and your heart opening to the complete understanding and revelation of who you are. It will begin manifesting itself in the everyday moments of your life, becoming a glorious accompaniment to My desires among the individual and corporate presence of My people. What an outcome we will produce. Ah yes, the cloud the size of a man’s hand will become the rain of all time.
The manifestation of My glory and the Kingdom of God within you will transfigure the kingdoms of your own life and the kingdoms of this world. All transfiguration of the heart is continual and always results in sharing what you have been given. It is not a place of permanent altars but a place of commission—a place of discipleship (Matthew 17:1-5).
Time is come to see the importance and the scope of My vested interest in the transfiguration of your heart. Don’t let the enemy convince you otherwise. Dive into the all-consuming passion of a consumed heart and all else that holds you. Yes, even the desires of the world competing for My attention will fade away it the light of My Glory and My Grace.
Arise in transfiguration of soft heartedness where My glory dwells. It is not a mystical, unreachable place. It is your heart and I have come. I am here.
Prayer
Lord, I long to have my way of thinking transformed into Your way of thinking. It is my heart’s desire to walk in revelation and truth to such an extent that my every step is in sync with You. Give me the revelation to see how accessible all You have really is. Lord, You sacrificed Your life that I might enter in to the holy place. You made the way for me and I must come to be where You are. Your Word says the Kingdom is within me, that You dwell in me. Your Sprit within me is a transforming force working from the inside out. Let Your life flow through me like a river and remove every hindrance. Let Your breeze move through me to blow away all the cobwebs of the past and bring healing to every part of me.
I agree and I confess that my heart and life are full of treasures and I no longer have a hard or darkened heart. I am in the light as You are in the light. I am made new and every stone left over has no power over me. They are Yours Lord to do with as You please. Have Your way in me. I hide the Word in my heart that I may be better able to discern the deceiving voice of the enemy when he attempts to rattle my cage. Instead You rattle his, for You are God and he is not.
Lord, forgive me where I have listened to the lies of the enemy and allowed him to persuade me that I have a hard heart in any area of my life. I am not disqualified by the stones in my life. They are opportunities to experience Your resurrecting life-giving power. They are stepping stones to victory and discovery. May I never feel like I have arrived to such an extent that I have no stones, no work to be done in my heart. This is pride, pure and simple. Ignite a passion in my heart for Your Word, for Your truth. I open my heart to be examined by You. Expose every work of the enemy, every place in need of healing. I surrender my heart to You stones and all.
Cleanse me of all unwillingness to walk in a repentant and humble heart. When I refuse to repent I walk in pride. You oppose pride and give grace to the humble. I receive Your grace. Help me to not get in a hurry or to be slow in responding to Your promptings. Work in my heart line upon line and precept upon precept in order to build me into a building with good foundations and strong walls. Teach me to leave the digging up to You. Open my eyes to see the treasure, to focus and hunt for treasure instead of stones. Open my eyes to see the treasure in others as well and when I do they will be edified. You destroy the works of the evil one in my life and my heart is a heart of flesh. It is supple and soft in Your hands and I submit any stony places into Your capable hands. Mold me, make me, and pour oil into the very depths of my being.
I take the Word and decree it over my own heart. My heart is soft and pliable in the Lord’s hands, soft and pliable on the Lord’s potter wheel. I have a heart of soft flesh responsive to the slightest impression of the Spirit. I have a new heart and a new identity in the Lord. My heart is an open tablet and holds only the Words of the Father’s heart. Yes, Lord, continue to write upon my heart. Amen
Reflect and Journal
After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him! (Matt 17:1-5 NIV)
1. Reflect on the accessibility of all He has based on what He gave: His life?
2. What areas of your life would you like to see transfigured the most?
3. What areas need the most regeneration and what areas of your present are in need of His invasion?
4. In what ways have you been future focused to the point you have missed the beauty of His transforming power along the way?
5. What are some of the obvious stones left over in your life that causes you the most concern?
6. Have you let the enemy convince you in any way that you have less worth in the Kingdom because of them?
7. How have you let the enemy rattle your cage?
8. How can you turn these stones into opportunity to find and know the Lord in a deeper way?
9. He has poured His oil into the fissures of your heart. Spend some time in His presence and let Him pour more of Himself into you.
10. What particular works of the evil one are evident in your life as you look at your own heart and those you love?
11. In what ways have you looked more to the stones and judged yourself than to the grace, mercy and work of Holy Spirit?
12. When it comes to those you love, what can you best to do demonstrate the Lord’s heart and not the enemy’s?
13. Take some time to let Holy Spirit minister to you, teach you and love on you. Write what He says, so you will have something to fight with, something to roar with.
14. Take some time to repent and ask for forgiveness for any sin in your life.
15. After you have repented, forgive yourself as much as you would anyone else.
16. Take time and ask Holy Spirit to bring to remembrance anyone you need to forgive.
17. Have you been digging for treasure or stones in your life or the life of another? Ask Him to show you the treasure, and stones will have less power in the hands of the enemy.
18. What is He writing on the tablet of your heart today?
19. He is well pleased with you and your heart is a place of transfiguration and glory. How does this or should this affect your thinking?
20. Where do you need your focus redirected the most? In other words, where and to what do your thoughts seem to navigate themselves to in negative ways most often? This will be a clue to discovering stony, unsurrendered or fearful places not yet transformed.
21. Can you see your stony places being formed into swords of might and power not subject to a spirit of fear? How does this change your way of thinking?
22. How can you best walk in the commission of the Lord and His desire for you to disciple others?
