Heart Faint With Love

Jesus My Heart Like Yours Is Faint With Love   My heart, like Yours, is faint with love. No one can speak to me like You do. Your words melt all my resistance, all my fear. I taste Your Word…I eat Your Word and know You are good.   I hear sweet whispers in my…

Soaking Prayer

Soaking Prayer is taking our nation, our churches, and the body of Christ by storm. Or should I say, “By saturation”? Soaking groups are springing up everywhere, in homes and in churches. Soaking is not a new phenomenon, just an acceleration of what we used to call “tarrying” or “waiting on the Lord.” It takes…

The Prophetic Demystified – Part I

If you look it up in the dictionary prophecy can mean to tell of a future event in order to reveal the will of a deity or be seen as a prediction, a foretelling, foresight or insight. The act of predicting or foretelling is most often what scares or at the very least concerns many believers. Either they discard the value and legitimacy of prophecy or leave it up to someone more qualified or gifted.

Prophecy is often looked at as something the so called “national or local church leaders” engage in and can be seen as something reserved for a select gifted few. It can be seen as something operating on a grand scale in regard to nations and/or governments with little relation to everyday life and experiences. Prophecy is also seen as something a Prophet visiting a local church or conference might engage in. This is indeed true, but prophecy is much more than that.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

We cannot afford to pick the petals of a daisy when it comes to determining our intimate love relationship with the Lord or how He feels about us. Love is not determined by moods, attitudes or actions. It simply is, therefore; we must instead walk in “Blessed Assurance…Jesus Is Mine

How to Journal the Heart of God

Journaling our heart in communion with Holy Spirit creates a deep spiritual experience, a journey into the depths of Love. It is a place where we write down our deepest desires, hopes, dreams, hurts and disappointments, sharing them with the lover of our soul, expecting a response. It is a place where nothing is off-limits. God already knows everything about us anyway. When you write your questions, concerns or words of adoration to Him, expect Him to answer. Don’t be too eager to leave these moments of communication. Always remember, communion is a two-sided conversation. God is always talking but we are not always listening. Holy Spirit is waiting with great anticipation to reveal Jesus, waiting to reveal the Father’s heart

Removing Barriers Of Unbelief – A Key To Intimacy With The Lord – Part Two

It is my belief that most of our inability to love God is based on lies we believe about Him…lies often formed in our own wrong belief system according to what we have experienced at the hand of men or circumstances…and a misunderstanding of the Word and God’s nature. Our greatest hindrance to loving God is to believe we are not loved. How can we truly be intimate with someone we aren’t sure loves us?

Are You A Friend Indeed?

According to the Word a friend—a brother in Christ is born for adversity. What is adversity anyway? It is hardship, difficulty, danger; unfavorable experiences and yes even great suffering just too mention a few. Many times we judge in times of adversity. I have seen many judging those they know who get sick, have financial issues and so on as being in sin. Nothing is ever that simple. I am not saying there aren’t consequences to sin which sometimes lead to adversity. However, I am saying, “Be careful.” The Scriptures say we are born to bear up one another’s burdens and are called to restore them in a spirit of gentleness. We are to do this keeping in mind our own vulnerability to temptation

From Cardboard To Glory

While He was knocking I saw a person on the other side of the door holding a small cardboard box which seemed to represent how they saw themselves. I knew how they saw themselves determined what they allowed in their life or their box. They could not see who they were but believed somehow the box was a true representation of who there were in many ways. Some self-perceived misconceptions cloaked themselves in very subtle ways they were unaware of.
