Child’s Collectibles

Word of the Day
Beloved, I see your heart like a glass jar full of a child’s collectibles. Along with precious treasures it also holds a few stones left over from all the transformation taking place. Even though this is so, there are many, many treasures ready and waiting to be seen and used.

However, the enemy wants you to focus on the stones so he comes and rattles your jar. He does this in order to make you concentrate on the stones and not on the many treasures I have placed within you. He attempts to rattle them like a saber every time a move is on your part to rid yourself of hindrances. He tries to convince you that your heart is a heart of solid stone and he reminds you of the many areas not yet surrendered. He tells you it isn’t possible. He shakes the jar louder, hoping to deafen the sound of My voice as I tenderly speak your name—as I tenderly ignite the flames of your passionate heart.

It is true that your heart at one time was hard. Everyone’s heart is hard and dark until they are born into the Kingdom—until they walk in the light of My love. Yes, it was a piece of stone full of fissures. This did not cause Me pause in any way. No, instead it drew Me for I had a plan and used the fissures in your life. They were My entrance and I poured oil into them, breaking up the stony places of your heart into fallow ground.

With patience I have worked day and night, having no frustration in My task. I chipped and poured, chipped and poured. The stones in your jar are the little pieces left over and will all be taken care of. The enemy has other plans but I always prevail. He rattles the left over stones in order to convince you that your heart is indeed hard or unrelenting. He does this to robe you of true vision—to rob you of a sight capable of seeing all the treasure within, hoping you will perish (cf. Proverbs 29:18).

Every one of My children is susceptible to this in varying degrees. I am not saying there aren’t stones to remove. And rest assured I will leave no stone unturned. I do this with kindness, mercy and grace. The enemy likes to make mountains out of molehills and at the same time make serious things seem trivial. Nothing is too difficult or too simple for Me. Regardless, every stone needs to be removed or transformed.

Therefore, I have turned the tables on him and he is the only one going to be rattled in the transformation I have ordained change for your heart and life. Yes, I am rattling his cage instead. The battle has already been won. Death, hell and the grave are defeated. I have the keys (cf. Revelation 1:17-18). I have made an open spectacle of the enemy and I won’t stop doing so when it comes to your life and My plan for you (cf. Colossians 2:15). I am manifest and he is defeated in your life (cf. 1 John3:8). Agree with Me as I render Him mute on your behalf. Who I am in you is greater than the one who is in the world (cf. 1 John 4:4).

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

Prayer
Lord, I agree and I confess that my heart and life are full of treasures and I no longer have a hard or darkened heart. I am in the light as You are in the light. I am made new and every stone left over have no power over me. They are Yours Lord to do with as You please. Have Your way in me. I hide the Word in my heart that I may be better able to discern the deceiving voice of the enemy when he attempts to rattle my cage. Instead You rattle his, for You are God and he is not.

Make me sensitive and discerning when it comes to his ploys. Your Word in me will keep me aware at all times and when he comes at a more opportune time I will know. Let Your Word ignite a vision capable of carrying me in times of struggle so I do no perish along the way—so that I do not grow weary in doing good. You have turned the tables on my enemy and I am victorious in You. Amen

Reflect and Journal

  1. What are some of the obvious stones left over in your life that cause you the most concern?
  2. Have you let the enemy convince you in any way that you have less worth in the Kingdom because of them?
  3. How have you let the enemy rattle your cage?
  4. How can you turn these stones into opportunity to find and know the Lord in a deeper way?
  5. He has poured His oil into the fissures of your heart. Spend some time in His presence and let Him pour more of Himself into you.

  1. Yes, the battle has been a long time won in Calvary. Your precious blood has paid for all. Nothing can come between You and me. Nothing can separate me from Your love. The enemy is nothing compared to your POWER and STRENGTH. Wisdom tells me to “rebuke the enemy and he will flee.” Just the mention of the name JESUS suffices. Your transforming grace will always have a place in my stony heart. The oil that will parent the child in me will always have its way to seep into the recesses of my soul till it becomes a heart of flesh.

Transfiguration will continue till I am able to look without blemish into your face. BEATIFIC VISION is what I long for…
