Decree And Proclaim

Word of the Day
Yes, it is beginning to rain and continue to rain it will, only stopping to keep the ground of your heart and land from flooding, thereby washing away the rich soil of your heart. Things must have adequate rain and sun in proper measure. When they do, new and tender growth springs forth in response to the sunshine and rain (2 Samuel 23: 3-5). You must say it is so.

It is time for you to decree what I have spoken to you today and in days gone by. My Word always accomplishes the purpose for which it is sent. Like the farmer who fertilizes his crop, you must fertilize the soil of your heart with My Word both logos and rhema. It is imperative for healthy growth in the natural and in the spirit. Do you trust Me? Do you believe what I say about you before even one sprout is out of the ground? My words to you, like crops, have different planting and harvest times. Patience and perseverance are necessary ingredients and will be cultivated if you understand process. Understanding of timing and process are meant to free you.

Just do as I ask moment to moment and all will be well, all the while decreeing, “I, once a neglected piece of land have now become a fruitful field, a dispenser of lush and much needed fruit. I am filled with hope and anticipation. While rain is falling on me, I am waiting in a posture of complete trust and worship. I love and I am loved. My time has come. ” Selah…. The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me, When one rules over men righteously, ruling in the fear of God, He dawns on them like the morning light when the sun rises on a cloudless morning, when the tender grass springs out of the earth through clear shining after rain. (2 Samuel 23:3-4 Amplified)

“Is as the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, When the tender grass springs out of the earth, Through sunshine after rain” (2 Samuel 23:4 NAS
B)
Prayer
Raindrops are falling all around me. Dust of the past is washing away. My spirit is responsive to the touch of my Gardener. I am now seeing process as a blessing, as a kind tutor of wisdom and understanding. Hope and expectation have taken the place of speculation and assumption.

Many crops are coming to fruition in my life as I trust in Your faithfulness, in Your love. Knowing You never force me into growth before my time releases freedom, liberty into my very essence, into my DNA. I posture myself in a place of worship and adoration to receive from Your banqueting table whatever I need to succeed. My time has come.

Reflect and Journal:
1. What are you feeling as the Lord tells you your time has come?

2. Reflect on how crops have different planting and harvest times.

  1. 1. I am elated, but still that little seed of doubt lingers. Abide with Me, he says……Follow Me….Oh Lord, let me progress spiritually, so thy will be done and not mine.
    2. We all have seasons to sow our crops (the learning and lessons of life) and the reaping (benefiting from what we have learned and experienced). Patience is of uttermost value when contemplating what the next step God wants us to do.

  2. As I read this word today, I reflect on myself and the process that the Lord is taking me through. My expectations, which I place on God, have allowed panic a place, but the Lord is moving me out of that.

I am reminded of fishing trips that I used to take with my father and uncle. I’d bait the hook, cast the line out, but would have expectancies on the fish. “I should’ve caught a fish by now!” I’d say and reel my line in. I’m sure I must’ve snatched the hook from the mouths of potential catches many times. Had I just waited, I would’ve caught many more fish. Well, I embrace the process and will wait on the Lord and His timing!

Your comment is such a timely one for me as I am in the process of manufacturing my salsa and some things have not gone as expected so I am doing what you are doing…waiting with patience and expectation for the hand of the Lord to move according to His timing. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this and confirming what the Lord is speaking to me today…be blessed, enjoy the process and grow in Him…Brenda
