More Than a Conqueror, Part One

What do you really long for in the hidden places of your heart? I know the secret desires of your heart (Psalms 37:4). Do you find yourself pursuing other things instead of those things planted by Me? Can you hear rumbles of your destiny somewhere deep inside?

I have given you specific words—rhema words—straight from My heart, yet they seem to pale in the light of what happens on a daily basis. Every once in a while, it seems as if the sky cracks just a little, letting a glimpse shine through. Latching on, as if it were a lifeline, you mount up in excitement, only to look around at the stormy sea of life and once again you doubt.

When doubt and unbelief settle in, you sink back behind the cover of everyday trials and duties, thinking it will never be. Pursuing other things becomes easier than standing in the fray and overcoming until the manifestation of all I have spoken comes true. Don’t let doubt make you waiver (Romans 4:20).

Little thoughts of “what if it never happens” compete with My promises with veracious tenacity. You must respond with a greater veraciousness for I have not made you to cower under anything or anyone. I have made you a conquering king and priest, not a beggar of crumbs. I have not called you to be satisfied with any less than all I have promised.

Resurrected Dreams

Take My hand and rise up out of the waves, out of the storm. Don’t you know by now how much I care for you? I care about all your hopes and dreams. I made you to love and be loved. And loved you are. I see all your mistakes, all your failed attempts, and at the same time, I see your heart, your desire to please and be all I have said that you are. How I know and love your repentant heart with all its successes and struggles. My love for you is never determined by success or struggle. It simply is because I AM.

Beloved, there aren’t enough words or time in which to express the depth of My love for you. It will take all eternity to do so. Keep this in mind as you consider the promises I have spoken to you. Trust me and walk in an overcoming attitude. Crucify all doubt and see resurrection. It is your portion.

Know that I am able to resurrect you out from among the dead while you are yet living (Philippians 3:11). Resurrection power and is for the here and now. Lift your dreams and aspirations up to Me and let Me breathe life on the ones you need to accomplish and walk in right now. There are dreams for the day you are in and for the days to come. Come for fresh manna and you will not be disappointed as I impart wisdom and vision on how to fulfill larger than life dreams one day at a time, one moment at a time.

The Battle Belongs To The Lord

Beloved, don’t let struggles in relationship with others become like the proverbial wet blanket and hinder your progress. Like a dark cloud, they can cover the already shadowy visions in your heart. Instead of becoming an intercessor on their behalf, you allow them to become a distraction. At times you even allow them to be used to lead you into resentments and the like.

Be careful, My love, and remember, wrong thoughts and attitudes lead to resentment—and resentment leads to bitterness. When this happens you do not have a clear vision to see who they are—who you really are— or where you’re going. How this delights the enemy. If he can distract you and cause you to be bitter, he has won.

Battles you fight always begin in the thought life. It is what you do with your first thoughts that determine how the battle ensues. It is best to start out from the winning position I have made available to you. Like a horse, if prepared for battle, you must prepare yourself and your thought life and I will bring the victory (Proverbs 21:31).

The enemy already knows your struggle due to lack of self-worth and how it seeks to disable you from acknowledging all I have said about you. Then he adds the words, actions, opinions and weakness of those around you, endeavoring to make it impossible for you to believe. Again, the battle is Mine and I have already won.

You must always start from this vantage point each and every time, no matter how many times you have sunk among pounding waves before. Sinking once, twice or seventy times seven does not change who I am, invalidate victory or diminish the overcoming conqueror I have called you to be. Open your gates. I am coming in (Psalms24:7-9).

Write The Vision And Make It Plain

Your positive response to each promising crack of the sky weighs you down with guilt and shame when you find yourself sinking among the stormy seas of life more times than you walk on water. Every time it is harder to latch on to hope, until finally you become hard to My promptings, settling for a less than fulfilled life, least disappointment overwhelm you yet one more time.

Each crack of the sky is meant to engender hope, not discouragement. I am opening up Your understanding and enabling you to see the beauty the process. Each time you sink I am there with My outstretched hand to lift you…to guide you…to teach you. Don’t let shame or guilt rob you of the valuable lessons to be learned as you are pulled by Me from among stormy seas. Take My hand each and every time. Take it one more time than you think you have strength for. I am your strength. When you are weak I am strong.

Beloved, it is time for this cycle to end—time for you to forgive yourself in relation to all the times you have failed according to your own estimation. What you see as failure I see as opportunity to grow. However, if you are looking at the failure the next crack in the sky may go unnoticed. Each crack is widening the open heaven over your life.

The time has come for you to walk on water. You are My water walker and this is what you must meditate on above all you see, feel or hear from any other source. Hear Me, believe Me, and proclaim only what I say and your crack in the sky shall become an open heaven.

It is important to have revelation first. When it comes you must write down the promises, the visions I have given to you. They are wellsprings of life and produce a confident hope, which releases faith born of trust. Recorded words create a memorial of truth which enables you to run the race with a sure and stead step.

Writing it down gives you something to constantly have before you and when it is read, faith arises, giving you the ability to run the race. Read it out loud. Silence is a tool of the enemy, and confession is a bubbling fountain of faith. Confession releases hope and hope does not disappoint but builds faith (Romans 5:5).

If God Be For You Who Can Be Against You

Beloved, know that the deep desire of your heart is created by Me— placed there by Me. Confessing My promises will enable you to fight the good fight of faith and dismiss the thoughts of unworthiness and help you overcome the past with all its disappointments—all it accusations.

How the enemy loves to use your past. He so tries to convince you that I still hold you responsible for things you have confessed. In fact, he loves to keep you busy confessing the past and not confessing the Word. Reiterating past disappointments and failings release death and shatter hope. This is his objective.

My objective it to bring you to a place where you let go of the past and walk in My affirmation and love alone—to bring you to a place of confidence in Me regardless of anything that has happened or anything going on around you. In doing this you are walking out an overcoming life . . . you conquer doubt and unbelief. Make some steps forward today in any area of unbelief you are doing battle with. If you release even one small thing a day, life would be so different. Have a whole new objective.

Prayer of Supplication and Declaration

Father, forgive me for allowing my failures and mistakes to derail me from my destiny. I know in my heart that I am never forsaken, yet I have not walked it out through my surrender to outside forces. I forgive those who have been like a wet blanket to me, having poured water on the embers of my heart with their words and actions. I forgive and release them.

 I forgive myself and all my failings. You died for my sin, my guilt and shame. Therefore, I give it to You in exchange for complete restoration. I am beautiful, lovely to behold, full of wisdom and revelation. I am more than a conqueror through You, and I align myself to Your will and purpose, receiving every good and perfect gift made just for me before the foundations of the world. I arise and do a new thing. Amen

Reflect and Journal

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37 NIV)

“Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay” (Habakkuk 2:2-3 NIV).
 Secret Desires of the Heart

1. What promises for yourself, your family, and your purpose has He spoken to you? Have you let go of any of these promises by saying, “Hath God Said?”
2.  What easier things have you pursued in order to feel like you are doing something even if it isn’t the grander promises of His heart?
3.  Talk to the Lord about all your “what ifs” and let Him encourage you. He already knows anyway. You might as well come clean and be set free.
4. What dreams do you have in need of resurrection? Hold them up before Him and let the breath of His mouth release resurrection power. Write your dreams down in a concise and specific way and record His response. 
5. What interpersonal struggles have you allowed to consume your thoughts or, at the very least, interfere to the point where they distract you?
6.  Where have you given the battle in your mind over to negative thoughts and allowed the enemy to say, “Hath God said?” or “What if it never happens?”
7.  Reflect on how to prepare yourself like a horse for battle and open the gates of your circumstance and let the King of Glory come in.
8.  Reflect on words the Lord has already spoken to you that you need to agree with? Write them down in a simple and concise way. If you don’t write them down and make it simple when you do it, most likely, you won’t follow through. Remember to make it doable.
9.  Once you have done this, take some time to relax in His presence and wait on fresh manna for the fulfillment of His words to you. Write these new revelations and instructions down alongside the Words and come into agreement with Him.
10.  Has the enemy been using your past in a negative way and causing you to contemplate or rehearse it over in your thoughts or with your words?
11.  Take some time to reflect on what you need to let go of, even if it seems small, and write down your new objective regarding it.
