Word of the Day
Beloved, even as Eve was born out of Adam’s side…Adam’s rib, so are you born out of My pierced side. My side was opened. Water and blood flowed as if from a womb giving birth. Yes, Eve came from Adam’s side and you are born of Mine. I endured the Cross…I endured the piercing…I endured the pain that you might live…that you might live with Me.
While on the earth I had no place to lay My head and I do not mean a literal bed. I had no place to call My home—no heart to dwell in—no body to work through, yet I endured to the promise that we would be one as the Father and I are One. I longed for a place to rest My head…to rest My heart…a place called home.
On the cross—I gave My life…I bowed My head in a place of complete surrender for resurrection was to come and I knew it. You were and are the joy set before Me. I so desired and looked forward to the actual day when My resurrection power and wooing love would be found and experienced by you. That day has come. And now I have a place to lay My head. I have a home in your heart.
What a beautiful picture to paint…what a lovely thought to have…Me with a place to lay My head and like a child comforted by the Father. My abiding Presence brings security and hope to the deepest struggles of life. This hope…this security comes from knowing, I your Maker have likewise experienced and overcome.
Yes, I lay My head upon and in your heart for you are indeed My most Beloved one. I am the Head and you are the body and we work together to accomplish My purpose in the Earth (Colossians 1:17-19). How I love resting, abiding, and taking up residence in you. You are My resting place and I am pleased with you.
The Cross…the plan…the sacrifice…the obedience…it was all for you—it was all for the restoration of the world…the cosmos…yes, for the restoration of all mankind. It was all to bring all things in to perfect order…to once again make all things to be fruitful and multiply.
Beloved, you are My favorite resting place…the place I love to call home. The veil is rent…it is removed forever. The Light of My Presence is at home in you separating the darkness and creating a substance of faith which operates in demonstrations of power. Yes, I am He who is alive forevermore and I am alive in you (Revelations 1:18).
So, release any and all areas of darkness you struggle with and let Me rest in you with My Light. I have come to say to you and over you, “It is good. You are very good!”… Read Complete Love Letter…
“And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together) He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent]. For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently” (Colossians 1:17-19 Amplified)
Prayer
Be still my heart. O’ the love I feel at the very thoughts You have expressed. It seems I cannot contain the immensity of Your love. To be Your resting place is more than I could desire, more than I can imagine, yet, You say it is so. To have the security and hope as You reside in my heart…as You call me your home. You are indeed the head and I am the body to carry out all You desire and have planned for me. What an amazing analogy…what an amazing picture…to see my heart as a place for You to rest Your head which makes up all Your thoughts, desires and dreams. I am privileged indeed. I would have it no other way. Teach me to be so very aware of Your presence so that I never take You for granted.
I must come into agreement with the depth of this truth of being Your resting place. I must know the fullness of being one as You and the Father are one. Open my heart…open my senses, as You promised before. Open them down to the very cellular level…to my very DNA.
Come and infuse the nerves of my being and make them receptive to Your immense expression of love. I declare that Your resting place…I am a place You call home. You are the head and I am the body. We move in unison together to accomplish great purpose and destiny.
Teach me Holy Spirit to understand and walk in the fullness of this great truth. Your Word to me creates more motivation to release all that hinders, holds back, or entices me. I am Your habitation…Your resting place and I am indeed a good thing. I am Your favorite one. Amen
Reflect and Journal
1. It is time to write your own love letter to the Lord based on this word. Reflect on the immensity of what He is saying. Can you imagine what your life would look like, sound like or be like if you truly believed these words?
It is time to explore this truth for you in relation to every aspect of your life. You could take one aspect of His nature and heart resting in You at a time and there wouldn’t be enough time to express it all even if you had all of eternity to do so. There is not one minute to waste and there is no time like the present. I challenge you to start right now and just SEE!
My Lord knows that we all are his resting place; in our hearts is where He will always be found. No matter how small someone is, He still longs to be with us. I am a freshman in high school, and He loves me the same as a ninety year old man. We all are loved my Him and all He wants to do is embrace us.
He chooses those who He knows are ready for Him in their hearts, to be loved by Him is amazing. He chooses those to be married to Him, by leading a religious life, because He knows that our hearts are strong enough and ready enough for Him.
He has chosen me to be His radiant bride, and I am just a freshman. How it is wonderful that my bridegroom knows my capabilities and thoughts and feelings in my heart, before I even speak them!
Everyone should feel this feeling! To know that He died for us on the cross and loves us so much is so amazing! I love Him more than anyone could ever imagine. We are born from His side, and we are His most precious things. He loves all of us; His love is so great and powerful.
Yesterday, I found myself dancing for Him! He is so great! How can someone know that our Lord loves them, and be depressed? There is no way this could happen with His love and loving Him back. He is the cure for everything: the depressed, the sick, the lonely, and pretty much any other problem there is on earth.
He is my hero! I love Him! I just want to spread His love with everyone, while I am awaiting the habit.
I expressed myself in this poem I have written.
HE LOVES ME
Walking along the leafy corridor of the park,
the path curving among the huge forest trees,
I marveled at how everything was so fresh and green,
but then, I already knew He loves me.
I reached up to touch a leafy tree branch,
it’s smooth textured leaf, a living thing,
as I gently patted it, smiled to myself,
knowing that He really did love me.
Wandering further down the plant strewed path,
seeing wildflowers of white and yellow,
imagining them in a vase looking so splendid,
so vivid in color, He loves me.
Stopped at the pond’s water front I sat,
the bench inviting for a moment’s reflection,
sparkles of sunlight on the water’s surface,
caught my eye, He does love me.
Looking up at the sky so clear and blue,
viewing flying birds and a cloud or two,
when an airplane flew directly above,
casting a shadow, still He loves me.
Through the pathways of the park, like life,
He guides me through the mazes of the day,
whispering softly in my listening ear,
I know, He loves me.
“As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you.” John 15:9 KJV

Dear Lord Jesus,
Today I want to write my love letter to you. Something I have never done before. You do say in your Word to me that you love me, and I realize I have worked my whole life for your approval instead of a loving relationship. This letter to you is a new beginning of our relationship. I want to give you my whole life my Jesus, that every area in my life may be a dwelling place for your Holy Spirit. Before you can dwell in every place in my life will You shine with your Light in every area of my life. I want to stand up for you and tell the enemy to get of my property, I want to stand up and say No, but dear Jesus, Holy Spirit, come and dwell in my and be My Light, Be My love, Be My power, overcome every area in my life by which I am not able to Love you My Jesus for whom I live. Open ways, that I can get out, make new friendships, restore, restore, restore what the enemy did destroy.
But Jesus you are my Friend, You are the Lover of My Soul, You are my Deliverer, You are my King, You are My God, You are the Beginning and the End, You began a good work in my when I was 3 yrs old, now being 40 I want to get back all the things that You had in mind for me. All your sweet promises that are in your word. Be God in my life, overcome all evil and my Jesus, I pray for power, I pray for strength, I want to fight for You, My Lord give me new wine, renew my spirit.
Dear Jesus, it became a strange love letter, but Lord, I want You to be my lover and let there be no other lovers in my life. Fill me with your Holy Spirit today, fill my with your loving-kindness that the love I receive from you I pass on to my family. Thank you Jesus Christ for loving me. Your daughter!
I cannot express myself enough on how I love you Lord Jesus. I may not always show my faith, my love to the world, but deep within I know and love you beyond any worldly words. I truly feel fortunate in knowing you as my Savior and cannot thank you enough for sacrificing your life on the cross, to save humanity from all sin. It is something I can’t contain in my thoughts, that someone would do this for me and for others. It is the ultimate sacrifice. I can do no other than love you with all my soul, all my strength, and my mind, with everything that has been freely given me.
You are my example as to how I should live my life. I am sorry if I haven’t lived up to your example. Please forgive me. Just know, Lord Jesus, that I am thankful and I love you with all my heart.
Your Beloved Child
MY LOVE LETTER TO JESUS AND THE FATHER 4/22/14
Dear Lord Jesus,
You didn’t have to do it, but You did it just for me.
No manner of love in heaven or earth that can compare to Thee.
I was the joy set before You, as You hung Your head and died.
To reunite me with the Father and in my heart forever reside.
You rose on the third day, as an example of what I can do;
That I too may rise and have an abundant life through You.
Father, Thank You for Your great love, favor and abiding grace,
For Jesus, Holy Spirit and a forever resting Heavenly place.
Eternal Love,
Martha Madonna
