Word of the Day
I am leading you to a place where My glory dwells. I am taking you to your own personal Mount of Transfiguration within My all-consuming heart. It is not a mystical place, a far away place or an ethereal place. It is a very common and yet uncommon place. It is not limited nor is it attainable by only a few. It is for whosoever will. Access is not limited to a select few. Most of all, it is not saved only for a promised day in the by and by.
Transfiguration is for the here and now, for this very day, for this very moment and every moment after it. It even reaches back in time, for there is no time in Me. My transforming power heals the past, invades the present and procures the future.
Beloved, transfiguration brings about a dramatic change in appearance within and without. It is here, right now, for you! It is emerging and growing in increments. Transformation will change every aspect of your life. Sometimes it moves like a river, coming in a flood of progress within your heart. Other times it is barely discernable. At moments My transfiguring glory rests upon your inner most being with soft words carried by gentle winds. Ah . . . Holy Spirit does whatever it takes—gives whatever you need.
Many times My children keep their eyes glued to the horizon, looking for a cloud the size of a hand and miss the beauty close at hand. They look for the coming rain. This is not a wrong thing, yet it is not the whole thing. It is only a portion—only a fraction of the sum of many parts, only a small piece of My glory. Don’t be so future minded that you miss what I am doing in the here and now. Take time to slow down and acknowledge what I have already done and your faith will grow.
In the days to come I am going to bring you into a deeper revelation as you venture without hesitation into the place where My glory dwells. You will only lose what provides no benefit or causes harm to the destiny I planned for you. Old mind sets will fall away in favor of My thoughts. Prepare your heart and release all fear (cf. Psalm 118:6).
After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters-one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him! (Matt 17:1-5 NIV)
Prayer
Lord, I long to have my way of thinking transformed into Your way of thinking. It is my heart’s desire to walk in revelation and truth to such an extent that my every step is in sync with You. Give me the revelation to see how accessible all You have really is. Lord, You sacrificed Your life that I might enter in to the holy place. You made the way for me and I must come to be where You are. Your Word says the Kingdom is within me, that You dwell in me.
Your Spirit within me is a transforming force working from the inside out. I long to cooperate with what You are doing in my heart and life to the fullest and do so right now. Let Your life flow through me like a river and remove every hindrance. Let Your breeze move through me to blow away all the cobwebs of the past and bring healing to every part of me. I renounce all fear and prepare my heart to receive. Amen
Reflect and Journal
- Reflect on the accessibility of all He has based on what He gave: His life?
- What areas of your life would you like to see transfigured the most?
- What areas need the most regeneration and what areas of your present are in need of His invasion?
- In what ways have you been future focused to the point you have missed the beauty of His transforming power along the way?
