Word of the Day

Beloved, you must remember the enemy will use any opportunity he can to rob your future and your hope (John 10:10). He doesn’t know the future, yet he senses upcoming victories I have planned for your life. He senses and knows you have an incredible destiny. He has heard the words of your mouth declaring the things of purpose contained in your heart. What he didn’t know before you spoke he knows now; therefore it is time for a little housecleaning—a little housekeeping. It is time to put off any aspect of the old man (Ephesians 4:22).

You are new in Christ and old things have passed away. All things become new in Me. You become new on a daily basis. Sometimes you can’t see it because you are living it. Things seem slow in the midst of process but as sure as the sun shines these things are unfolding. It is the same for and with you.

This is not time to be shortsighted or complacent. The enemy dines on complacency and apathy born of the assumption nothing will ever change. Change is here and here to stay. Embrace it. Embrace letting go. Embrace My yoke.

It is time to strengthen your resolve before any strong holds can be established. Be on the offensive. After all you have the upper hand because you are Mine, created in My image and filled with My Spirit. I am greater in you than he is in this world or any circumstance thrown your way (1 John 4:4). Open up your heart to the slightest whisper, the slightest direction and obey. Listen carefully in the days ahead and be obedient to the smallest shifting I might require.

Many times it is easy to discard the so called “big things” but hard to let go of the little foxes that spoil the vines. Often these can be and opinion, an attitude, a mindset and so on. Regardless whether it is of the thought life, the physical life or the spiritual life, you must be ever mindful of letting go. Just because something is spiritual and is good doesn’t mean it should be continued by you. Listen closely for My Word and Directive, then obey. All will fall into place.

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4 NIV).

Prayer

Lord, the enemy is a liar and the father of all lies. There is no truth in him. Therefore, when he comes to rob with accusing lies based on my past or flatters with unwarranted praise I will look to You. You know the plans You have for me and nothing can stop You from moving on my behalf. You are never surprised by the enemy’s actions or plans. Sharpen my discernment and understanding and I will not be taken off guard or be shortsighted when it comes to weakness and strongholds in my life.

Strengthen me as I depend on Your Word, as I rest in Your abilities. Contend with those who contend with me in order to abort purpose and destiny. I open my heart to the still quiet voice and obey according to the new person that I am in Christ. Show me all the little foxes that hide under the cover of deception and pride in my own heart. It is not enough to do something because it is good. It is only enough—only right—when all I do is done out of submission and obedience to Your Word, Your voice. I incline my ear to hear Your voice. Come and speak clearly and I will obey.
Reflect and Journal

Have you found yourself shortsighted or complacent in any way? Reflect and respond.
In what ways are you aware of God’s unfolding destiny on your life day by day?
Do you in any way see destiny as somehow out there and not connected to the immediate day you live in?
How do you think seeing destiny as the here and now would change your willingness to let go of temporal unprofitable things?
Share your struggles in letting go of certain things in your journal and trust your heavenly Father to reveal the reasons you hold on to certain areas of your life. He will not give you the answers without the power to overcome. Always be willing to seek out help and prayer from others. One puts a thousand to flight and two ten thousand.

I thank God for this message of encouragements. so many people has left our church and has gone else where. now with Christ’s help, I’ve been asked to do praise and worship every Sunday morning. well, I don’t mine because the gifts and talent that Christ has placed in and upon me, don’t belongs to me, they belongs to Him. He has gifted me with a voice to sing for His glory and for the edifying of His people and He knows that every opportunity that He allows for me to do His biddings, He knows that I’m more than willing and obedient to Him and those who have rule over me, With His help. I stay humble and do not desire to have my own way. I just wait patiently on Him to pave the way and I tries to follow. but there are those who despise the gifts and talent that Christ has placed in me and His anointing that Christ has allowed to rest upon me,they tries everything they can to stop me, block me and to discourage me, but Jesus are always there helping me to stand in the face of my adversaries. I can feel the firery darts coming at me when I’m asked to do praise and worship by my leaders. I don’t care for coming to church to use God’s precious gifts to entertain the enemies with. nor do I care for going to church to use God’s precious gifts and talent and His anointing for an outside show to man but to glorify Christ and edify His people. there are those who have respecter persons where I attend church and they only wants to hear from their favorites but most of the time their favorite are not there. plus, Christ has favored me. I can only boast in Christ because I am not my own but I am bought with a price. I know that we all have a track record and Christ does not hold our past against us but people do. so as they say, it’s because of my track record that satan holds against me that keeps the people from receiving from Christ through me. they laugh at me, I see them with my own eyes. they frowns upon me, and when God has me up going forth in praise and worship, they sits down and looks at me crazy. but here’s the thing, Christ called me, ordained me, sanctified me, purified me, justified me, set me aside, and made me fit for the Master’s use. it has absolutely nothing to do with me. I have no powers of my own and ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF God, I can do nothing of myself. I thank God that I don’t have to be jealous nor envy anyone, because I know that I’m not the only one that God can use. but if He can use a donkey, then He can certainly use me. I know that satan is there to intimidate me and He’s trying extra hard to make me give up and throw in the towel. I also know that without Christ, I am no match for satan. Christ has made me well aware of Him and that in order to defeat satan, I need Christ and His spoken and written word. my adversaries wants me to think that I have been defeated, but my name is Jennie Victorious Duncan because Christ has declared it to be so and I agree. I can’t give up now!!!! Christ has brought me too far and I dare not to turn my back on Christ. I must admit, it hasn’t been easy, Christ didn’t say it would be, but He has been faithful and merciful and loving and kind and therefore, I am grateful for all that Christ has done, is doing, and going to do. I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know as of this day, this day that the Lord has made, I don’t feel no ways tired. I pray that God will help me in the face of my adversaries and adversities, He will cause my face to be set like a flint, that he will give me hinds feet that I can stand and stare the enemy in his face and stump on his head until it’s destroyed, not just crushed or broken but destroyed. and with Christ help and His anointing and prayers it can be done. enough is enough! I’m not stupid, I know that I can’t defeat satan on my own or by myself, I need help! Christ said, one can put a thousand to flight and two ten thousand. I am not defeated. no matter how they treat me, I am victorious and an overcomer. I have been gifted and anointed by Christ and I shall live and not die and declare the works of our Lord and Savoir, Jesus Christ. The anointed one. who is, who was and who is to come. all of my sins are forgiven and has been cast into the sea of forgetfulness. and I have been, is being and at the end of the day, I will be forgiven. I am soooooo fed up with satan, using God’s people to war against each other in the house of God. using the things that Christ has blessed us to use to tare down his kingdom, he’s causing some of the people of Christ to use their gifts form Christ to tare down, prevent, and destroy each other, but Christ has declared him to be a liar and an accuser of the brethren. I have to continue to fight, I can’t give up, take down, and turn back, for Christ sake, for the sake of my soul and others, I must with Christ’s help, fight the good fight of faith. I pray for holy boldness in Christ, not of myself. because Christ said, it’s not by might, nor is it by power but by His spirit. I want to be one of Christ’s annihilators. one that Christ would use to annihilate any and everything that’s of satan and his demons. I belongs to Christ and I am a part of Christ’s body no matter what satan says or does, I am who God says I am and that settles it.

It is wisdom to remember and be on guard. Thou art My shield “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring prosperity and the future you hope for” (Jeremiah 29:11)

So too, If God is with me , who can be against me?
