Word of the Day
My Beloved, are you truly willing to let all things go in order to receive more of Me? Count it all joy to leave behind anything and everything I ask you to let go of. Who knows, like Abraham and Isaac, it may not have to be. In some things you need to know what is in your heart in order to move on, in order to place more value on Me than on the thing your love and desire. Anything you are willing to let go of no longer has power to control your heart or your actions. Letting go makes way for the ability to surrender all, accompany all you do and who you are.
I am waiting with a heart full of treasure to dispense. The minute, the second you let go of anything, I can open up what I desire to give in its place. I will fill every emptied place with abounding grace and abundant mercy to overcome. It will be a simultaneous action. I will not leave you wanting. I am your Good Shepherd and you shall not want (Psalms 23).
Remember the enemy comes to rob, kill and steal, but I come to give you an ever increasingly abundant life (John 10:10). You are the one who must let go to make room. I am the One who must fill. Your complete cooperation makes things faster and easier.
Letting go and renewing your mind with My words softens the wineskin of your life with the oils of heaven and creates the ability to hold the new and the fresh. New wine is ready to be poured out (Matt. 9:16-18). The time has come. Are you ready? I am.
“No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. 17 Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved” (Matt. 9:16-18 Amplified)
“For how great is its goodness And how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive, And new wine the young women” (Zech. 9:17 NKJV)
Prayer
Lord, I count it all joy to have You. You are the light of my life and a treasure to behold. You are the Pearl of great price. My spirit is willing and my flesh is weak sometimes, but still I choose to follow You, my bright Morning Star. Reveal the true condition of my heart that I might know and be free from things which separate me from You in any way. My heart is open and I am waiting here in Your presence to be filled to overflowing with abundant mercy and grace. Let faithfulness be the hallmark of my life. My hands are only capable of holding more when they let go of what I so tightly hold on to. Letting go demonstrates my ability to trust and willingness to obey.
I receive abundant life today and declare that my joy is made full in the Lord and the Lord alone. Nothing else can satisfy. Nothing else has the power to set me free. The Word hidden in my heart sets me free and renews my mind. The wine skin of my heart and life are softened by the oil of Heaven as Your Spirit is poured afresh into me. The time has come and I am ready. Come, Lord Jesus, come. Amen

- What new wine do you long for? Share your heart with Him.
- Reflect on the simultaneous action of letting go and receiving at the same time. Does this give you incentive to make such and exchange with the Lord. If so, how?
- Today, right this moment is your time and season. Each new day with the Lord is always a new time and season, seeing that His mercies are new every morning. Reflect on how this very moment is a new season and old things have passed away. Refuse to eat from the fruit of yesterday and pick fresh fruit from the tree of life set before you today. What do you want to pick? What abundant life do you need?
- Are you ready? Reflect and respond to the Lord with a letter of commitment and love of your own. Once you have done this take time and let Him speak back to you in specific ways according to your own circumstances. He wants to.
1. I long to become more like Jesus.
1a. It’s the letting go of the past and receiving the new fruit of the Spirit. To renew and become complete in my spiritual life. To view this earthly life differently, in that it is a stepping stone to a better life in Christ.
2. Each day is a new beginning to the more “perfect” life in the Lord. I know I have been forgiven and desire to please only my Lord and Savior. to turn over to a new leaf, to be peaceful and at peace, to be loving to all, and to be able to turn the other cheek when offended by others.
3. I hereby in the presence of my Lord and Savior want to turn my life around and be made “one” in you. To be able to show my face to others so they know that I am committed in all ways to the life that the Lord has designated for me.
“Child, thou hath shown thy loyalty and love to Me, thy Heavenly Father. I will guide you on the right paths to fulfillment in Me. I will be the Way shower to you. My Son, is the example to follow as thee reads and follows the words of thy Bible. They are My Words. Your sincerity speaks for itself. You are much loved.
