My Child, My Friend
My Child, have you forgotten how simple it is to hear My voice, to feel My breath blow across your heart? Why are you so downcast about some of the aspects of your life when I am for you? Concentrate on all the beautiful things I have done and those in need of repair will be infiltrated with new faith and possibility.
This assault of condemnation and anxiousness you’re feeling is not from Me (Philippians 4:6, Romans 8:28-39). I am your friend—your very best friend (John 15:15). My relationship with you is not like anyone else’s. Our relationship is unique and precious. No one else can ever have the type of friendship we have. There are expressions of My love that can only be experienced by you. Yes it is true that I love all My sons and daughters the same. However, I love them in individual unique ways according to how I fashioned them. It is the same with you who are fearfully and wonderfully made in an exceptional way.
You and I together create a distinctive expression of beauty, belonging only to us. There is not one person who has ever lived, or ever will live, capable of creating our chemistry. You and I together . . . well, we are awesome. Yes, I am your dearest friend and I want you to know it—to live in the knowledge of this truth. Let your thoughts dwell on these words and be.
Comparison Leads to Self-Pity and Critical Thinking
Don’t compare yourself with anyone or anything else. You are Mine and I am proud of you in every way. Sure, there are things to work out, but isn’t that what friends are for? I laid down My life for you and I will never leave or forsake you (John 15:13).
When you compare yourself with others the enemy will make sure your negative aspects show up, and if he can’t he will try and make you fall into the critical thinking of a prideful heart. Either way, comparison is a losing battle and you will always come up short in some way or another. Where you have been critical of yourself or others, repent and let go in order to receive all I say you are. It is just as harmful to be critical of one’s own self as it is to be so of others. You must not only forgive others but forgive yourself. It is the foundation of My Cross.
Beloved, Holy Spirit is with you, in you, filling you, always. He will teach you, lead you and guide you into all truth (John 14:26). He is with you right now to free you in all areas. Open up, My beloved and be the receptacle, the habitation I planned for you to be. There is never any condemnation in Me and if you are shown things needing adjustment it is for your own good and the good of the Kingdom. I cannot leave any area of your heart in an unhealed state. It is My job. It is why I died, for your complete healing and salvation in every aspect of your life. Nothing is too big or too small to garner My complete attention.
You are My vessel and the chosen temple in which I dwell. Let Me have My full expression in you. Do not believe any lies. Accept no condemnation. Never settle for less than all My fullness. It is yours.
I Chose You
You must believe and you must know that I never abandon My friends. Remember, you did not choose Me but I chose you and what a pleasure it was and still is (John 15:16). I still remember the day with such fondness. What a wonderful day it was and continues to be. The beauty of a rising sun can’t begin to express the delight I experience at sharing yet another day, another moment with you. You are what I died for, what I intercede for, what I live for.
The Aurora Borealis with all its splendor and extravagant expression of color can’t even begin to demonstrate the bursting forth of My love for you. My love flashes a vehement jealous flame for you. You were in Me before anything ever was. I cradled the promise of your life within the loins of My great love. I chose you, fashioned you, appointed you and I take this very seriously.
I see your life like a beautiful vineyard full of many clusters of grapes full of the sweetest wine. Others see grapes on a vine. I see like a wine of intoxicating flavor and bounty able when shared to touch the hardest heart with My indwelling love. You see all the hard edges, all the incomplete places and focus on them. I focus on the good and change the rest from a perspective of enduring faith. You see your failures and I see your potential. You are My most precious friend. Come and sit in the vineyard of My love today and drink from My presence and be changed. I love you.
The Truth Will Set You Free
You are My friend and My great love. This is the truth and truth will set you free, so embrace it. Embrace My forgiveness, My freedom, and My rest. Those I set free are free indeed (John 8:35-36). Lean into Me and rest. Embrace My absolute delight in you. You are exceedingly wonderful to Me. My days are filled with thoughts of you, and while you sleep I bring forth My plans for you (Psalms 139:17).
Not one moment of your life passes by Me unnoticed. Not one tear falls to the ground without being captured by Me to be stored up for your recompense. Your every tear is precious to Me.
I use them to water the soil of your heart. They cry out to Me and I answer. The Kingdom of God within you grows like a seed planted in the ground and while you sleep it grows by My power (Mark 4:26-27). Many kernels of destiny I have planted are coming to fruition, and will surprise you. They will delight you with great abundance in many areas and produce a complete ear of corn (Isaiah 55:9-11, 2 Corinthians 9:10).
Many mustard seeds of faith you have planted are coming to fullness (Mark 4:30-32). Have faith and know I am God and there is no other. There is no other who can CHALLENGE Me or compare to Me.
It Is Written On Your Heart
Have faith and know this, I am unstopping your spiritual ears and I am reaching in to touch your heart. All you have to do is agree because I have now opened your eyes and ears. Believe accordingly. Act accordingly. Receive accordingly.
I am pressing My fingerprint deep into the recesses of your inner most being to write upon your heart (Jeremiah 31:33). I am overwriting all the past negative words and reprogramming your heart, your life. Hear My voice and feel My breath blow across your heart. My breath will lift you up and cause you to move with the grace of a butterfly and soar with the power of an eagle. Beauty and strength are in your wings. Fly above and around the circumstances and hindrances.
A new wind is stirring in your life, stirring up a whole new way of seeing and hearing. Set aside all condemnation; agree with Me for your salvation is at hand (Romans 8:1). The glory I promised in the latter days is for you. The new wine of My presence—the new wind of My heart are both for you. All I have and all I am are for you. I am not holding anything back. All is yours.
Above all, know how much I love you, My most precious friend. You are a wonderful treasure and I should know—after all, I made you (Deuteronomy 26:17-19). Selah
Prayer
Thank you so much for reminding me of how much You love me. I have been listening to the clamoring voice of the world around me, letting it drown out Your still small voice. Yet, my heart has been crying out from the depths of my being and You have heard. You have answered. Blow away the negative words of men. Blow away all negative words of my own mouth over the course of the life You have blessed me with.
You make me feel so incredibly valuable, so important to Your plans. Open up my innermost being to the sweet voice of Your presence. Holy Spirit, I welcome Your work in my life. You and I together . . . well, we are awesome. I submit myself to You and agree that my ears are tuned to Your voice. I open my heart up to receive the imprint of Your fingerprint upon my life, upon my very essence. You are my treasure and I so love You, my precious friend. Amen
Reflect and Journal
Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name” (John 15:13-16 NIV)
- In what ways have you let the trials and struggles of your life drown out His voice?
- Consider the fact you are unique to the point that it is impossible for the Lord to relate with anyone else in the way He relates with you. You are that unique. Reflect and respond with love to the Lover of your soul.
- What traps of critical thinking and self-pity have you fallen into?
- In what areas do you need to forgive yourself and others as well?
- Reflect on the bigness of God and His ability to do anything.
- He remembers the day you found Him, the day you heard His call, with great fondness and love. Take some time to reflect on the day you met Him and how you felt? Write a letter of love in response to your memories of meeting Him and let Him write back to you.
- What hard edges of your life are you focusing on? Be willing to meditate on the beautiful things He has done and respond with thankful joy.
- Reflect on any mustard seed of faith you have planted and let Holy Spirit speak to you about which ones are coming into fullness.
- In what ways have you been challenged by the enemy in areas of faith. The Spirit of the Lord is in you and when the enemy challenges you he is challenging God.
- Think on this and how there is no one who can challenge God and win. What does this say about your situations?
- What words and actions of men or even your own words have left negative impressions on your heart and cause you to struggle?
- Take time to reflect on this, find scriptures contrary to the negative words and confess them over the need, the struggle. Come into agreement with Him and His Word and with time you will be transformed.
