Fear Of The Lord, Understanding And Wisdom
Follow My instructions (My Word) and understanding will come. It has come in the past and will come in the future. Lay the groundwork for your tomorrows by walking in reverence and awe today. The door you exit any given day, time or situation is the door you enter into another day, time or situation. Remember, the door you exit is the door you enter. Cultivate and receive Me as the Lord who was, is and is to come.
Receive Me as the ever approaching One who draws near…who stretches out My neck…My heart to you right now. I am coming and will always be coming to you. It is who I am. It is what I do. Beloved, I am always on the move in your direction.
The question is never whether I am coming, for I always am. However, the question is, “Who is receptive…who is receiving…who is believing…who is waiting…who is trusting…regardless of situation or circumstance. Who fears with awe of heart?” Let it be you.
Yes, I am the Beginning. I am the End and the All In Between. I am the Was, the Is and the Is To Come (Revelation 1:8). I am all of this just for you. Therefore, let nothing hinder or stand in the way. I am nigh unto your heart. I dwell in you and you contain the thoughts and intents of My heart. Yes, I have already come. Be a trusting receptacle…have a believing heart…I do.
The Sevenfold Spirit Of The Lord
Beloved, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom, knowledge and understanding. When you fear Me knowledge fills your house. Many perish because they lack revelation, knowledge or vision (Proverbs 29:18) “Knowledge of what”, you might ask…knowledge of the Holy One…knowledge, understanding and revelation of the Word and so much more. If you do not have knowledge or revelation you cast off all restraint or self-control which is to become self-indulgent or mindful of only your needs.
On a side note…when you converse with others do you use the “I” word or say “You did or you said” a lot? This can be a gauge to measure your heart by…a thermometer of the Spirit so to speak.
Redemptive revelatory knowledge always starts in your heart first to reveal and redeem then it moves outward. All must be vertical before it goes horizontal. If not so…the wrong kind of fear can be introduced to another heart. Selah (meditate, reflect)
Have you ever wished you knew then what you know now? Most have. This longing…this wish of many speaks to the value of knowledge and its ability to keep one from perishing. Never fear My revelation for when I reveal a thing it is always redemptive in every way. I never point anything out in order to make you fear.
Open yourself fully to the spirit of wisdom and understanding today. Count on things being different. Old ways of thinking and believing will not work in this day and hour. You must be one stretched out beyond what you think you can do and be. What I am doing in you today will cause you to stop looking backwards at the past and enable you to embrace a new wine not even yet released. There is always new wine just like there was new manna. Drink up and be refreshed.
Walk In Reverent Fear, Obedience And Love
Beloved, what is the wrong kind of fear and what does it look like? I promise you it isn’t pretty and is filled with shame, guilt and a complete mistrust of My true nature and character.
The negative side of fear is to have terror, alarm, dread, panic, terror, anxiety or to even worry. Small worries lead to more hideous forms of fear which is one reason why I have told you to take your thoughts captive…to not to be anxious, but instead, give all to Me in prayer (1 Corinthians 10:5; Philippians 4:6). How much trouble could be averted if you follow this practice? More than you realize. You see, it isn’t about just the big things the way most seem to think. You can advert much by being aware of the little things.
You see, you are made in My image. I am in you and you are in Me. Isaiah prophesied about Me having a spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, power and the spirit of knowledge. He also prophesied that I would have the fear of the Lord. If I needed to walk in the fear of the Lord which is reverence, respect and awe, so must you. I did everything first so that you can. I suffered and endured so you can. I overcame sin so you can. I endured temptations and overcame them so you can. I did all so that you can do all in Me who strengthens you.
Yes, I walked in the fear of the Lord which produced obedience in Me. It is no different for you. Love and reverence always produce more obedience and faith than being motivated out of a fear which produces a slave like mentality. Love others deeply from your heart as I have already loved you (1 Peter 1:22). Force is not My way but love by example is.
Therefore, be with Me and you will be like Me in thought action and deed. Fear will disappear amongst a sea of love, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel and power. Perfect love casts out all fear. I am Love and so are you. Selah (meditate/reflect)
Be Perfected In My Perfect Love
Beloved, you must at all cost follow My example and be with Me like I was and am with the Father and all wrong fear will fall away (John 10:38). In fact, perfect love casts out fear. When you trust in Me and My unrelenting, unfading, ever-enduring, merciful and graced filled love for you—fear is cast out. Cast out is not a gentle word. It means to remove or throw with a violent action…to send, thrust, strike with great force. This is the power of love.
The key is to know that I love you and out of My great love you are enabled to love others. Being in this great love of Mine assures you and secures you in a safe place where fear does not abide…secures you and causes you to crave…to desire My beholding gaze…to receive My constant coming…My constant drawing near to you…and to do so with delight and anticipation. This anticipation is not only to experience communion but to relish with excitement the revealing of all hindrances that keep you from being fully perfected in love.
It is much faster to go through something than to go all the way around it. Remember the Israelites as they traveled around and around the mountain. To go through is hard sometimes but to go around and around is wearisome and robs hope…causes fear of failure…causes a fear of Me that denies My intrinsic goodness. Time has come to short circuit this process and be immersed in love.
I am indeed the Alpha and the Omega…the beginning and the end. I have already seen both the beginning and the end… and all in between. I really do know best. I have seen it all…seen all you have done or ever will do and still I behold you…look intently upon you with adoration and a joyful heart. Why should you ever let something get in the way and cause you to fear when I loved while you were yet a sinner…while you were lost in your own self-indulgence….may it never be.
I Loved You First – I Chose You First
Beloved, all I ever do in your life is done in love and to perfect love in you. As I told you earlier, “I have already done all things first.” The first thing I did was love you…choose you (John 15:16).
Everything flows from this first thing. Without love being the first thing nothing else can be as it should be. Actually, the very first thing I did was to dwell with My father. I dwelt in His love and out of abiding in Him and He dwelling in Me. I love you.
Yes, you were in My heart before the worlds ever were; but, before you physically came to exist I existed and loved My father. I would never ask to do or be something I haven’t already done or am.
I have come to you today…to this time in your life and I am releasing a whole new level of trust…a new level of hope and the realization of My love for you. Trust is building in your heart. Your ears are hearing all that I am saying and your spirit is seeing all I am seeing. As I behold you, life is flowing from me to you…redemptive revelation is streaming like beams of light on a sunny day into your very essence. Feel the warmth and be made new.
Therefore, take time with Me to worship, pray and just simply rest in My presence and …let the light penetrate your heart.,….let the living water create a realization of love that will cast out all fear. Come experience true and reverential fear as you stand in awe of who I am and who you are to Me. Take every opportunity to draw near…to lean into Me…to stretch yourself out to Me…to extend yourself to Me. Come and exist in the midst of My life. Selah (mediate and reflect).
Prayer
Lord, forgive me for getting ahead of You or for listening to the advice of men in lieu of Your Word. Help me to understand how important the ground of my life today and how I nurture it will determine much of my tomorrows. Give me an eternal perspective as I learn to see the bigger picture around me. I do not want to be self-focused or self-absorbed. May my heart be cultivated in richness, grace, mercy and truth to the point no lie will have the power to influence me or draw me away from Your presence.
I proclaim I am one who is receptive, receiving, believing…one who is trusting even as the Lord is. My heart bows in awe and respect for the Lord. I am not moved regardless of situation or circumstance for the Lord is with Me. I stretch myself out to the Lord and He meets me. I am changed.
Lord, teach me to walk in wisdom, knowledge and understanding till all knowledge fills my house…my heart. May Your wisdom and revelation keep me from perishing in any way. Truly people perish for lack of knowledge. Many times in my life, as I look back, I realized the mistakes I made were due to ignorance of Your Word…ignorance about You.
I have made decisions which have affected me to this day, but you are the Lord who restores the years the locust have eaten. Many times I have judged others without having true revelation and change in my own heart. I ask You to forgive me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness and severe the power of all judgments I have made as I confess and repent. I release _______________ from all judgments and words I have spoken.
I declare the redemptive knowledge and fear of the Lord fill my life and heart. I will not give way to measuring another’s heart and forget to examine mine. May all I ever do in relation to others be done in truth and love for I must reap what I sew. It is love I wish to reap. Lord help me to be humble of heart and forsake the past. I press on to my high calling in You.
Lord, reveal to me the small fears capable of derailing my relationship with You and others. Like little foxes they come in as small worries upon worries until they rob my faith in who You are. If given leeway they grow into many forms of fear such as panic and terror…all having the power to paralyze my life. Draw my heart to abide in You and Your Word. The Word implanted in my heart will well up inside of me enabling me to take my thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ. This is the only way. I submit my self- talk to You and replace it with the Word.
I declare I am one who walks in the counsel of the Lord with a heart of reverence and respect. I am not moved by what I feel, think or see. Obedience is my choice for it is better than sacrifice. May the perfect love of the Lord cast out all my fear as I submit myself to God and resist the enemy. I am no longer a slave to this world. I am a friend of God. I embrace and absorb the love of the Lord. He is love and so am I, therefore; my heart is purified and I love the brethren.
Lord, I am so blessed that there is no punishment in You for me or any of Your children. Help me to realize when the thought of being punished comes to mind when I think of things I have done or said I am operating in fear. Fear will not make way for true repentance with the power to change. Realizing the depth of Your great love will cause me to receive correction with joy because in the process I know I will be changed. You are ever merciful and kind to me. In fact, Your kindness leads me to repentance and I am cleansed by the watering of Your Word.
As I submit to Your love, fear is cast away from me with great force. Love declares to all fear in my life, “Be gone for she/he is loved with an everlasting love. Draw near to me once more. Let me live in the constant coming of Your Presence. Teach me to move with you…to move in the ebb and flow of the Spirit. You are my beginning and my end…my all in all and I proclaim today that You know best.
Lord, thank you for going before me. Thank you for leading the way by example even to the cost of Your own life. I pray this be enough for me…enough for me to trust You and take You at Your Word. Love was and always has been…always will be the first thing with You. I relish in Your love. I so desire for love to flow from me as it flows from You, therefore; teach me to walk in Your ways and in Your footsteps without missing a beat.
It is hard to imagine being in You before the worlds ever were. What a love. What a preparation to be with me. I am amazed and overwhelmed with the beauty of it all. Today I receive the fullness of Your beholding gaze and I ask for You to penetrate the very depths of my essence with a never before experienced revelation of Love…of You. I come to Your presence and experience You as You exist in the very midst of my life. Amen
Reflect and Journal
The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and the alphabet]; a good understanding, wisdom, and meaning have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their praise of Him endures forever. (Psalms 111:10 Amplified)
1. The Israelites forgot from moment to moment all the things I Am did for them. Seems this is human nature but we have been given His nature for He lives in us. Therefore, how you respond to all He has done today will influence your tomorrows. Bad decisions today affect tomorrow. Reflect on the door you exit being the door you enter into your next situation or circumstance. Where are your walking today?
2. The Great I Am “is”. Ponder the word “is” and relate said word to the Lord and your very present circumstances. How does or should this change your perspective of what you are going through or experiencing emotionally?
3. What decisions or judgments have you made that are affecting your life today? If you aren’t sure, take some time with Him and trust Holy Spirit to reveal any judgments or assumptions getting between you, the Lord and a life full of wisdom and revelation.
4. What areas of your past to you seem to continually go back to or find yourself dwelling on a lot or from time to time? How are they keeping you from pressing forward in your high calling?
5. In what ways and areas has the Lord prompted you to stretch out beyond where you are…to take a risk and believe to do greater things?
6. Do you let little things add up until you blow the “proverbial stack?” This may not be done by using unkind loud tones with others. It can be done in more silent ways such as depression, sadness, fearfulness and so on. You get the point. Ask Holy Spirit to show you your trigger points.
7. Reflect on the how the Lord had to walk in reverential fear and respect. Did you ever think of it that way? How does this encourage you?
1. Love of others flows out of loving Him. Loving self flows out of loving Him. Have you had a hard time loving others or yourself? Selah (Meditate)
8. Since He has seen the beginning from the end and has given You many promises, what should your attitude and countenance be? Does this knowledge have power over fear in your life? If it doesn’t, you might be taking some extra trips around the mountain. Ask Him to reveal all hindrances to you.
9. What does it mean to you to be in His heart…in His grace before the worlds ever where. Does it make you feel special…loved. Write Him a love note and tell Him why.
10. Take some time in a quiet place to behold Him…imagine Him beholding you and listen carefully. What is He saying?
