Word of the Day
My child, don’t give in to disappointment. Some issues are simply beyond your control, not related to any aspect of your life. They are attacks of the enemy in which you must use My word to overcome. I died to give you hope and hope does not disappoint.
However; some come out of unmet expectations, certain behaviors and attitudes. Like little foxes, they sneak in before you know it. Be on guard at all times no matter the direction they come from. It is My Word, sharper than a two-edged sword, spoken that builds faith and destroys the enemy at the same time (Heb 4:12). Yes, it is a weapon and a tool, mighty for the tearing down of strongholds (2 Cor 10:4).
If you find yourself contemplating areas of your life which seem to resist change, resist conforming to the Word you must not give in, no way, no how. You must, yes, you must persist. Change your thinking to align with Mine and consider it an opportunity to see My power displayed. Remember, I took the keys of hell, death and the grave. Nothing has changed. I rendered your enemy, satan, powerless. He roars like a lion. He is not a lion. He whimpers at the mere mention of the name Jesus.
Clothe yourself in My armor, speak the Word and watch faith arise like a mighty flood against the enemy. The time has come to deal a death blow to destructive assaults and the results of unmet expectations, hopes and dreams.
I know you know this, but I feel I must tell you again, “I am for you, not against you. I have not and will not forsake or reject you in the midst of your trouble no matter the cause. I can’t and I won’t. I am a good Father to you, so fear not.”
I see your great heart of love toward Me and your desire to please Me in all things. Child I am here today and say “You are an overcomer of all hindrances great and small A fox is a fox, is a fox no matter the size and I care and deliver your from them all.”
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 3-6 NASB)
Prayer
I will not give up for I am an overcomer in You. You have won every battle before I even get there. I choose to cooperate with You in this. I clothe myself in Your armor. You have seen my great heart of love and are pleased. I am pleased and confident in You. I am using the Word to tear down every stronghold in my life and those around me. You are faithful and true and so am I, for I am like You. The enemy is disarmed in my life as I submit to You and the Word
Faith is arising in me like a might flood and the enemy is fleeing in every direction. I speak the name Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. I speak the name at which every name bows. I declare You Lord over my life and all it contains. Amen
Reflect and Journal:
1. What disappointments (little foxes) have you given into?
2. What word has He given you that need to be spoken over your current situations?
1. I look back at this past week… I know I have raised my voice when something bothers me, to the dismay of my husband. I could just as well, have spoken more quietly. I complain about the behavior of other people, and yet I know I am not “perfect”, nor near the development of my spiritual growth that God wants me to be. I need to center myself more in God’s Word…in His presence.
2. To exhibit patience in all I do and say. Seems this is what my lesson is about….I can see that that is the root of all I do and say at difficult times. I need to gather my thoughts together before speaking…
