Word of the Day
Questions and doubts aside, I came to Abram in the twilight hours of his life and spoke to the dream in his heart. Yes, I spoke to a dream buried so deep he was only aware of it enough to plan and give all he had to his servant. Did he remember his dream of a son every time he looked at his servant? Did he still long in his heart? Yes!
And I heard! Yes, I heard his longing and I came. I came and resurrected his dream. I released a song of promise in his ear, in his heart. The words, “I will give you a son,” fell like rain of parched ground. His heart lapped at hope like the deer pants for water (Psalms 42:1). Dare he hope? Dare he believe? Yes!
Dare you believe? Yes! You are still alive and breathing, therefore, it is necessary to continue on with a heart of faith. Just think, faltering to the point of abdication will not only affect you, but those around you. Your destiny is tied to their destiny. It is a mistake for anyone to think so are to believe it is ever about one person. There is more at stake and you can see this is true by looking at Abraham. Your destiny was at stake for you are his heir.
Yes, you must believe and I am here to encourage you, provoke your faith and bring all to pass. Lay aside your doubts coming from a tendency to look at your own abilities. I am the only ability needed. I am ability in every form. Cloak yourself in My ability all the while resting at the feet of My Son in humble adoration and love. I have heard and I have come.
me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!” (Psalms 27:13 Amplified)
“AS THE hart (deer) pants and longs for the water brooks, so I pant and long for You, O God” (Psalms 42:1 Amplified)
Prayer
I put all my questions and doubts aside. I come to the water brook, to the place of green pastures and refresh myself in You. The longings of my heart are speaking to You, deep unto deep. I dare to hope. I dare to believe. Everything plan or purpose for my life is for the greater good and I must not forsake them by bowing to doubt and unbelief.
My abilities have never been enough, only enough at times to cause pride or self-chastisement. You are my ability in every way. I cloak myself in You through the blood of Jesus, through the living Word hidden in my heart and with a life of worship. You have come and I meet You in humble adoration. You are my great love. Amen
Reflect and Journal:
1. What questions have you been asking? Does knowing Abraham asked encourage you?
2. Father is here with His ability, His willingness and His faith. What is your reaction and answer to Him?
