When You Have Done All To Stand, Stand

Word of the Day
Beloved, when you have done all you know to do…done all you can do to stand, you must remain standing. You must hold on. What do you stand in or hold on to? You stand in Me. You stand on the Rock and not the shifting sands of your own efforts or successes. You stand with faith and confidence when all the odds are against you, for I have indeed entered the fray. You hold on to the Truth…the Word which does not return void. I want you there standing in Me when the answer comes…when the promise becomes manifest and evident.

If you do not remain standing, it is like having a birthday party with all the gifts and fanfare without the presence of the one being honored. The party took place but the guests were late for some unknown reason, so the one to be honored and celebrated got tired of waiting and went home…went home with doubt and unbelief in their heart as to their value and importance to those they call friend. As a result the enemy moves in with self-pity which precedes a heart open to judgment and offense.

However, the guests eventually arrive with a multitude of presents in tow. They all line up to share but no one is sitting in the recipient seat of honor. No one is there to receive the gifts it took them time and planning to purchase in order to make sure what they bought was just right. As a result the guests feel perplexed and awkward. They may or may not choose to leave their valued gifts in case the one they are celebrating chooses to show up to get them. They do not understand the actions of their friend for they have always been faithful. Everyone loses.

I have already gone before you regardless. I am not asking for perfection made of human hands. You are already perfect in Me. However, I am asking for your trust to be settled in Me who has never been unfaithful for even the smallest measurement of time. Have an ear to hear…have a heart to read between the lines and choose in your heart to never vacate the seat of honor for I am never late. I am always on time. My faithfulness and love endure forever.

Remember this My cherished one, every Word I have sent to you…every promise I have made is in some stage of fulfillment. From conception to manifestation, you must believe in Me who cannot lie. Every Word I send is full of sound and light capable of framing your world just as My Word framed the worlds (Hebrews 11:13).

Don’t let the birds of the air take a hold of your promised fruit and peck it into nothingness right in front of your eyes. Dare to grab it…hold it…and refuse to let it go. Observe every moment of increase no matter how small it might be with a grateful and thankful heart. To do so is like watering and fertilizing your garden so it will continue to grow and produce.

Acknowledge My faithfulness and readiness to move on your behalf when you see nothing. Why? Because, when you see nothing happening, I am still there like an experienced and faithful stage hand behind the scenes of a great play orchestrating the upcoming scene.

Don’t leave the birthday party. Don’t leave the theater. Don’t leave period for I am always near. I am near right now to impart to you strength to hold on…strength to not grow weary in doing good…strength to forgive those who have forsaken you or no lived up to their commitment…strength to sit in the recipients chair of honor and wait for the guests to arrive. I give you inner strength to stand in the only large and stable place, Me.

Beloved, a time of refreshing is upon you…refreshing to go another mile…refreshing to faint not…refreshing to endure to the end that you reap in due season. I, the Great Promise Keeper, have drawn very near, nigh unto your heart. I speak to you from the wells of salvation with your being which are now flowing up with living waters unto eternal life and the fulfillment of your calling. A promise given by Me is a promise kept; therefore, rejoice for each are inscribed in the palm of My hand. Take hold of My hand of blessing with your hand of receiving and see what happens when we agree. A new day has dawned for you. Selah (meditate and think on this).

For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:10-11 Amplified)

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 Amplified)

Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you] (1 Thessalonians 5:24 Amplified)

And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint (Galatians 6:9 Amplified)

Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place] (Ephesians 6:13 Amplified)

Prayer
Lord, the rain falls from the heavens and waters the earth. As a result, things grow, mature and become fruitful. It is the same with Your Word. Every Word you have given me is full of power and ability…full of the redemptive work of the Cross and brings about the purpose for which it was sent to me. Everything You purpose for Your Word in my life shall be accomplished. Every need is and will be supplied according to the riches in glory in Christ Jesus. You called me from the very beginning…before the worlds were and are trustworthy to keep me according to all You have called me to be.

Therefore, I will not grow weary in doing good…will not grow weary in following Your Word and unction of the Spirit. I will not be one who faints and I will reap in due season according to Your timing. I stand in the confidence of one who is a son of God and heir to salvation. I will be found standing on the day when my promises come into fullness and are manifest before me. I will not be late to my own party. I will not be absent for the manifestation of Your Word to me. The Lord has gone before me this day and every day after to make a way where there is no way. He has gone before me and I will follow His lead.

I do not have to demonstrate some kind of perfection based on my own self-doing, for I am already perfect in Him. Knowing this and walking accordingly gives me rest and takes the pressure of the journey off me and lets it rest on Him. Every word given to me by Him is truth already manifest and is waiting for me to receive it with my own heart that my eyes might see.

Therefore, I seize the day and grab hold of all promised to me. I do not give it over to the birds of the air. The Word promised is my inheritance…my fruit…my destiny. I acknowledge the faithfulness of the Lord; thereby, I experience the fullness of strength, endurance and steadfastness it takes to not grow weary. I stand in the strength of the Lord and receive the refreshing of the Lord…receive the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. When the Lord speaks to me, a promise given is a promise kept and there is no dispute on my behalf. I will not be one who accuses my own self and thereby vacate the seat of honor given to me. The Great Promise Keeper has drawn near to me and I to Him. I am refreshed, renewed and full of expectant hope. I remain standing. Amen

Reflect and Journal

  1. Have you ever felt you are only going through the motions or lack true faith when choosing to stand in the face of all odds….when choosing to stand when there is nothing in sight to show you it is worthwhile? If so, how and what have you or are you thinking about yourself during this time? To remain standing is one of the greatest acts of faith and is not related to feeling like the answer is there. More often than not, standing when standing is there is left to do, does not feel pleasant, overcoming or faithful. A lot of the time it feels faithless, hopeless and so on. This is good because, in of ourselves, we cannot do what needs to be done…only He can. Standing develops humility, faith, trust and reveals the sovereignty, grace and mercy of a good God when the answer comes.
  2. How have you depended on your good works…your devotion to Him or anything other than His covenant of faithfulness and the truth of His Word to bring about a promise given by Him?
  3. Describe on a personal level what it means to be perfect in Him and how being so can keep you in the seat of honor…keep you standing till the answer comes?
  4. What does it mean to you personally to frame your world with His Words?
  5. Are you willing to do anything He asks you to do in order to prevent the birds of the air from taking your fruit? What are two things capable of bringing increase that are mentioned in the Word for today?
  6. Where do you need refreshing the most right now? The Great Promise Keeper is within you and His manifest presence has drawn near to you. Take advantage and receive a time of refreshing and new strength to stand when it is all there is left to do. A new day has dawned for you.
