The Oil Of Joy And The Power That Works Within Us

Word of the Day
Beloved, I have given a future and a hope to all My children…and that includes you. Don’t tune Me out because you have heard me say this so many times before. The days and times you are living in dictate the necessity to remind those I love of so many things they may have forgotten or somehow think do not apply to them because somehow they have arrived. You will never in the truest sense arrive until you cross over.

Just let one moment of trouble erupt on the scene and most find out how full their lamps are. I am here to fill your lamps with old truths now flowing in streams of new oil. You must have enough to light the way. Therefore, be radiant with joy

The key to future prosperity in every arena is recognizing and being grateful for what I have already done which builds faith to know I will do more abundantly above all you could ask or think. In fact, I have already done so. Expressing a grateful heart in one area can water and fertilize the soil of another need.

Therefore, today is as good a day as any to repent for doubting Me in any area of your life even if it might seem small and insignificant. Yes, today is a good day to start giving thanks for what I have done in all parts of your life both big and small.

Beloved, if you find yourself being so negative you can’t think of a thing in the natural to be thankful for, just start by thanking Me for being in your life and caring enough to tell you this…for caring enough to want and desire to see you walk in the victory I died to give you.

Yes, I love you with an everlasting love and the little things of your life you struggle with are just as important to Me as any other struggle you have or ever will have. Greater am I in you than he who is in the world. Come and give Me praise and see the fountains of the deep ( the power that works within you) open up to fill your lamps with eternal oil capable of lighting even the most obscure path (Ephesians 3:20). There are many who need to see the way…there are many who mourn in Zion and need consolation that they might not languish…there are many who need you…

They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion and shall flow together and be radiant with joy over the goodness of the Lord–for the corn, for the juice [of the grape], for the oil, and for the young of the flock and the herd. And their life shall be like a watered garden, and they shall not sorrow or languish any more at all (Jeremiah 31:12 Amplified)

To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion–to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit–that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified (Isaiah 61:3 Amplified)

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] (Ephesians 3:20 Amplified)

Prayer
Father, I give You praise for all You have done, are doing, and will do in my life. I will not forget all the goodness You have shown me. I am one who remembers how great You are for Your faithfulness to me has been never ending. I am grateful for the big and small things you have done in my life. Blessings of hope fill my life and permeate my future with seeds of faith.

Lord, I take this opportunity to repent for all my doubt…for all my unbelief. If there are areas of unbelief in my heart I want to know…please show me anything blocking the free flow of Heaven’s oil into my life…into the lamp of my being. I give all unregenerate, accusing, and negative thoughts to You by taking them captive to the Word. As I do this my heart is ignited with a burning flame of faith.

I want to be a light on the hills of this world. I want to light the way for those languishing or mourning in Zion. You have always been faithful to me and will continue to do so. I will not be dismayed by what I see going on in the natural for all is possible with You…all is supernatural with You. You are indeed the power working within me and through me to bring light and life to those around me, including my family. I am Your well of living water…Your lamp filled with oil and overcoming one. Amen.

Reflect and Journal
1. Once again, write a list of things you are grateful for that the Lord has done for you personally. You can never have too much practice and the time has come to build a habit of gratefulness.

2. What area in your life do you need to repent for doubting the Lords faithfulness?

3. God cares about the big and the small areas of your life. Therefore, in the areas that you struggle with, are you willing to let God intervene? Reflect on His goodness and faithfulness and how they have been manifested in so many areas of your life. Praise Him and invite Him to take care of the other areas you struggle with, casting your cares on Him for He cares for you.

4. What does the “power that works within you” “having your lamp full of oil” mean on a personal basis and how does it apply to your everyday life?
