Between The Rock And The Hard Place Into The Secret Place
Beloved, faith fails when you take your eyes off of Me…when you quit rejoicing in what I have already done…when you look at the troubled economy with all its shortages and threats of more to come. Set your face like flint according to My Word and My promises. (Isaiah 50:7) It is the only way to walk on water. It is the only way to walk on dry ground to the land of milk and honey while the pursuers of your emotional, physical and spiritual provision drown in the sea.
While in the wilderness, my children were sandwiched in between a pillar of fire and a vast sea. There was nowhere to go. Fear pressed in from behind. The insurmountable loomed in front of them. They were in between the Rock and a hard place…between the fire and the sea. Someone needed to hear Me.
Someone needed to hear My voice saying, “Go this way!” Someone needed to believe. Who believed? Moses did, and he did so as man in the same like manner as you. He had the same choice as you do on a daily basis. First he asked, then listened and then he obeyed. The result of his obedience and trust was provision for a nation and the destruction of the enemy.
Do you know that since you are created in My image, you are like Moses… like Elijah…like David? It is good to recognize their great feats. Be careful to also see their weaknesses and how I used them in spite of themselves. See their humanness and have faith. They are no greater than you. They were not loved any more than you are right now. I am with you always regardless of whether you accomplish great feats or find yourself between the Rock (your chief cornerstone and sure foundation) and a hard place (Isaiah 28:6).
What am I asking right now? I am asking, “Will you believe in the faithfulness of the Rock and not surrender to the lies the enemy tells you in the hard places when he endeavors to smear My name. Be willing to “Go this way” regardless. The reward is great within the secret place of the Rock.
From Darkness To Light
Beloved, never wonder how I, the God who makes something out of nothing, which by the way is definitely My area of expertise, can bless you in the middle of anything you are going through. I have no limits…no weaknesses. I do not experience weariness nor does My power and ability fluctuate but is steady and unchanging. There is no shadow of turning in Me and I cannot lie. Take My yes and amen promises for granted and dare to believe and you shall see My right hand do valiantly on your behalf (Psalms 118:15; 2 Corinthians 1:20). Therefore, today is the day…this moment is the moment to rejoice for I have already done great things for you and will continue to do so.
Though the world is getting darker and darker as it draws near the end of the age, I change not. In fact, the darker it gets the more you can see the light…the more you can see Me as I infuse the hope of the manifest glory of the coming age into the hearts of men. I have delivered you from darkness and transferred you…translated you…to the Kingdom of My Beloved Son. Do you know what it means to be translated? It means I have carried you…translated you from one condition and place to another. Your dictionaries define it as being translated to Heaven without dying. Selah
I am taking you from one place to another in many areas of your life…in your emotions, in your physical body, in your thinking and attitudes, in areas where you need healing in the wounded places of your being. I am delivering you from wrongful definitions of what it means to be successful and full of value. One by one the strongholds of the enemy in your life are being dismantled. The more you cooperate with Me the easier and faster it will be.
How do you cooperate? You cooperate by listening to the living Christ in you in such a way that you respond to the promptings with joy. It is not by your own might or power but by the Spirit. Time has come to quit finding your worth in what you do but in who you are in Me.(good) I am teaching you how to let Me live through you in such a way as to relieve you of any sense of shame or guilt for not measuring up. I am translating you from old ways of thinking into to a whole new paradigm shift. Are you ready to let go of law and embrace grace? I hope so. I am showering you with grace as traditional ways of thinking go by the wayside. Today I breathe a new transformative life into every cell of your being. Close your eyes and receive. I am exhaling.
All Things Suited To Life And Godliness
Beloved, have I not said you are seated in heavenly places? Have I not said you are not of this world any longer (Ephesians 2:4-6)? The only true nationality you have is in the Kingdom of Heaven. Those of the world follow after the dictates of their own flesh and believe most anything the world tells them. At the root of all flesh is the lie which believes man can do all things without Me. There is no need for God; but yet, they turn to many other things not realizing they are in great need. If not, they would not try and fill their empty lives.
This is not so for you. I have given you all things pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). What would your life be like if you took Me at My Word in this one area…if you believed every day that you have whatever you need through relationship with and knowledge of My person? Selah.
It is very important for you to know with a revelatory certainty that you are aliens in the world. Knowing this truth in actuality and experience will change everything…will change how you see, think and feel about the world you live in and how you relate to it…knowing this will change how you relate to Me(1 Peter 2:11).
Know this now and forever. I have seated you with Me and want you to live accordingly. Therefore, if you pursue Me in the secret place, revelation will abound with the fruit of wisdom and discernment…will abound with revelatory knowledge…will abound with strength and courage to overcome the lies and persuasions of the world. Come and let us agree that you may know what I know.
Remember, you are not to operate or function according to the world and its ways. You have a higher and more excellent way; the way of love (1 Corinthians 12:31 Amplified).
Heaven’s Economy And The Release Of Grace
Beloved, I have shared many things with you related to doubt, unbelief, gratefulness and the troubled times you live in. I have proclaimed truths about the faithfulness of My nature and character…talked about My unlimited power and its availability to all My Sons, not just those of old or a particular few. In light of these truths, it is vitally important to all you will ever do in this day and hour to know who you are and who I am…to know I am not, nor will I ever be, limited in any way. I have already given you all you will ever need. I am a good father and have provided for all your needs according the riches provided in Christ Jesus, My Son (Philippians 4:19).
Not only do I provide but, I do so with a liberality for the most part unrecognized by those I love and who love Me. However, things are about to change and I am starting with you. I am opening up your heart to see and know the depth of My capabilities to provide when there are no natural ingredients with which to work. Who wants natural ingredients anyway? I am not saying that to belittle the natural things. I do use the ordinary things around you but if the ingredients are not there, what does it matter to Me who created everything in the first place? Selah.
Time has come to live by Heaven’s economy and not the economy of the world around you. Things that look successful on the surface as far as the world is concerned can be found to be unclean, impure and without any lasting depth when looked at more closely with discerning spirits. Even the natural supplies of the earth itself can run out as has been evidenced in your time, while in Heaven there is always more than enough…more than you have begun to imagine. It all depends on the perspective from which you are viewing things.
Remember, you are seated in heavenly places and should be viewing things from My perspective, which sees the end from the beginning and does not give way to fear. Fear is the enemy of provision.fear defeats faith…fear is the soil of doubt and unbelief…fear is evil. Resist the temptation to fear and embrace a repentant heart ever so receptive to grace. Yes, it is time to receive. Grace is here.
Waking Up To The Abundance Of Heaven
I am waking you up to the abundance of Heaven and all it offers…waking you up to the abundance of all the unlimited provision given to you in Christ Jesus. You have indeed been translated from a kingdom of poverty and lack in every area of your life ranging from the physical to the mental, which includes wrong thinking, attitudes, and self-denigration.
When you wrongly disparage yourself you give credence to your old man which has died and given way to your new life…your real life which is hidden in Me. I do not desire the resurrecting of old dead things. You do have a new life…acknowledge and rejoice in this.
Beloved, do you know how it grieves me to see you speak ill of yourself or others. I put so much of Myself into the fabric of your being…put so many good and perfect gifts in you…put so much destiny and essence of heaven that if you knew what I know it would also break your heart. I made you by special design and then wooed you into My embrace. I called you by name before all time. I relished the sound of your name each time I spoke it. There may be others with your same name; but, when spoken by Me, there are worlds of difference. When I speak your name, I prophesy who you are created to be. When I speak your name the very essence of your personality to the core of your innermost parts is contained in the sound I make. When I speak your name…I speak the whole of you from the inside out.
Yes, the time has come to rejoice and be glad for the things I have done. The time has come to be a dispenser of all I am. Dispensing is not something you have to do…it is who you are. Simply, your life is hidden in Christ; therefore, walking out a victorious life in the abundance of My provision is not something you necessarily do. It truly is who you are. Remember, when you do not live up to the mark, when you struggle, you have an advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1). What a beautiful thing I have given you.
Yes, today and every moment from now on, I am further translating you from your perspective to Mine in the daily activities of your life. I am translating your way of thinking from doing to being. Get ready to let go of religious ideas and prepare to embrace a move of grace in massive proportions. Be ready to let go of mindsets to embrace the full abundance of God and how He thinks. Do not fear letting go of those things and ways in which you have found yourself rooted. Something better has come. Are you ready? I am.
Prayer Of Supplication And Declaration
Lord, You are so mighty and worthy of all praise. From the rising of the sun to its setting, Your name is greatly to be praised. There is truly none like You in all the earth, making a way where there is no way. I give You glory and honor for all the things You have already done for me and my loved ones. With a heart of patience and persistence, I focus my mind, my will and my emotions on the truth of Your Word and not on the negativity surrounding me…bombarding me through the news and situations around me. All things are subject to You and You alone are sovereign.
I choose to dwell on Your goodness…Your kindness…Your grace and Your mercy. To do so sets me free from doubt and unbelief as trust and faith are built in my heart and life. I stand in faith to see the manifestations of your goodness for You are not broke, impoverished, destitute or without resources. Knowing You created the worlds with Your Word gives me great faith to know You can provide all things necessary. You who created Heaven, Earth and all they contain are not limited by what man can or cannot do. Therefore, I set my face like flint according to Your Word. Just like Moses of old, I too am willing to hear and obey Your voice when You say, “Go this way.”
Today, I seek Your face…today I listen and I obey, for truly it is impossible to please You without faith. I not only believe that You are God but I also believe You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. I receive Your reward.
Lord, truly You have delivered me from the kingdom of darkness and translated me into the Kingdom of Light. I have indeed been made alive unto God. Because of your richness and mercy I have been saved by faith through grace. There is nothing I can do in the natural to save myself or make myself any better. Everything has already been done for me because of Your sacrifice. There are no limits to Your great love or its ability to keep me. No one can snatch me out of Your hand for I am engraved according to Your undying sacrificial love.
Truly, You are my strength, my hope, and my salvation. Doing well, being somehow better, achieving success or any other worldly idea of achievement does not give me a better place or standing with the Father. All the standing I have is based on the finished work of the Cross. My place…my righteous standing is unchangeable for it is anchored in You Lord, my Rock…in the Chief Cornerstone forever. I shall not be moved.
Though the earth be shaken and the mountains be cast into the sea, I will walk in the yes and amen of all Your promises. All my dark places have been transformed by the light of Your Presence dwelling in me. My thinking and ways of doing and being are also being translated into a beautiful representation of who You are according to Your finished work. My spirit is born again and is perfect like You while my soul man is growing day by day into the likeness and image of the one I love, Jesus. Come and breathe on me…exhale all Your goodness and life changing truths into the essence of My being. Shift everything in me to line up with the Truth. Today and every day hereafter I receive grace…abounding grace into every cell of my being. I close my eyes and receive…I breathe in You.
Yes, You have delivered me from the kingdom of darkness, and translated me into Your kingdom of Light. I praise You for You have made me alive unto God. Because of Your richness in love and mercy You have saved me by faith through grace. I praise You for You have no limits, no weaknesses, and there is no shadow of turning in You. I can trust You for You cannot lie.
I dare to believe You Lord, no matter what my senses tell me to the contrary. Today is the day I rejoice in You and give You thanks for all You have already done. Help me to understand in a revelatory way what it truly means to an alien in the world. Help me to experience this truth in a way that is relevant and pertinent to my everyday life.
I desire to be drawn into the secret places of your heart where wisdom, discernment and revelatory knowledge dwell. May all darkness be separated from me through the light of Your manifest Word in my life. Help me to grasp it…cling to it and ingest until I radiate with Your image from the inside out. Yes, I choose to walk in Your ways…to walk in light and love and not the ways of the kingdom of darkness for I am seated with You in heavenly places forever.
Lord, Your truths about the faithfulness of Your nature and character continue to astound me. Your unlimited power is hard to fathom, yet I know it is so true. Open the eyes of my heart. Show me how to tap into Your abundance and apply it in my life.
Thank you for making everything You have available to all Your children, including me and those I love. Help me…help us to know who we are in You. Cause revelation to burst forth like an ever-flowing stream until we are filled with Your glory in tangible and demonstrative ways.
I worship You for You are my Father…because You are the best Father ever. Every good and perfect gift comes from You. How blessed I am to have such a generous father who loves and provides for every need. Therefore, I praise You for opening my heart to see all You have for me. Teach me to live by Heaven’s economy…an economy which produces dew laden manna…an economy which makes a way where there is no way. The economy of the world is fickle and subject to the deceptive whims of men who build on the sand; but, Your economy is built on the immovable Rock. May this seed of truth bear the fruit of a proper perspective in relation to my heavenly position in Christ. Thank you for waking me up to the abundance of Heaven and I pray to stay ever mindful and diligent to the truth. I thank you and praise you for the unlimited eternal provision given to me through Christ Jesus this very moment and every moment after. Your provision is now.
Lord, awaken my heart to the fullest measure of abounding grace found in Christ. I have been translated from a mentality of poverty and lack to a life of faith according to the riches I have been given in Christ Jesus. Forgive me for disparaging myself or others; thereby, devaluing the precious gifts You placed in me. I let go of any old ways of thinking and doing related to the old life. I understand my spirit is born again and therefore perfect in You. The things of my flesh are being dealt with day by day until they fall away in the light of Your glory and grace. Thank you for being ever so patient with me.
Help me to see…to have revelation in relation to what it means when You speak my name. I can see it even now. I can see You speaking my name and as You do the beauty of who I am in You…the beauty of who You made me to be is expressed in ways I cannot even fathom. It is like you release me…release my personality to be a manifest expression of Your DNA which I am formed from. Ahh….the beauty…the glory…the majesty of hearing You speak my name. May it forever change my life till it lines up with the vision of Your heart. Change me from the inside out for I am undone.
Yes, I let go…I take my hands off the wheel and dare to believe I can fall into grace…fall into mercy…fall into the secret places of safety and provision in you…fall into the soil of Your heart where I will be forever rooted and grounded in love. You are indeed my hiding place for my new life…my real life is hidden forever in You. Amen.
Reflect and Journal
Therefore thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am laying in Zion for a foundation a Stone, a tested Stone, a precious Cornerstone of sure foundation; he who believes (trusts in, relies on, and adheres to that Stone) will not be ashamed or give way or hasten away [in sudden panic]. (Isaiah 28:16 Amplified)
[So I went with him, and when we were climbing the rocky steps up the hillside, my beloved shepherd said to me] O my dove, [while you are here] in the seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely (Song of Solomon 2:14 Amplified)
- Have you fallen to the fearful tactics of the enemy causing doubt and unbelief concerning your provision in these challenging times? What avenues of negative information are you listening? How have they diminished your faith?
- Have you been limiting God’s ability to perform on your behalf due to the limitations you see in the area of resources? What would those limits be called? Write them down.
- Setting your face like flint according to the word of God, determines what you will listen to. Jesus said, “Take heed what you hear.” Beware of negative reports that cause fear, doubt and unbelief.
- Remind yourself of God’s faithfulness. His word is true. Look for His promises to provide your provision and build up your most Holy faith as you spend time mediating on His Word.
- As the world grows darker and draws near the end of the age, remind yourself of God’s faithfulness. He is the light of the world. He has delivered you from the kingdom of darkness and translated you into the kingdom of his dear Son. Journal your thoughts concerning the meaning of being delivered and translated and how those processes reflect in your life.
- Do you ever find yourself wondering about God’s ability to provide in the face of lack or fear of lack? Take some time and assess how much time you spend thinking negatively or speaking the problem and not the answers found in His Word.
- Do you need some showers of grace…some new ways of thinking…ask Him…every good and perfect gift comes down from Him. Let Him breathe life into you. He is near.
- As the world grows darker and draws near the end of the age, remind yourself of God’s faithfulness. He is the light of the world. He has translated you from the kingdom of darkness unto the kingdom of his dear Son. Journal your thoughts concerning the meaning of being translated and how it reflects in your life.
- What is your true nationality and how should knowing it affect your spiritual walk…affect your natural walk in this world?
- What does it mean to be aliens in the world? Pray and ask God for revelation concerning how this should have an effect on how you view struggles and triumphs.
- We are called to walk in a higher and more excellent way, the way of love in a fearful, angry world. What does it mean to walk in love on a practical level? Write down your responses.
- Some of the promises of God state He will provide all your needs. His unlimited power is available to all of His children. Therefore, it is extremely important to understand who you are in His kingdom, as well as who He is. Write in your journal who you are according to the Word of God and how it relates to walking according to His economy.
- How has fear affected how you feel and think about the days we are living in? What has fear been saying to you? One of the biggest ways fear speaks is to first start out with condemnation and tells you how you have failed in some way, thereby unworthy of provision. If you have sinned…just confess, repent and move on. It is just that easy. Don’t let the devil stand on your ground and accuse you with a relentless pursuit. Don’t let him impoverish you through lies and half-truths. Should he do so, get in the Word and find out what God says. God says it is no longer you who live but it is Christ who lives in you, the hope of glory. WOW! Try throwing that in the enemy’s face. When he accuses you…ask Holy Spirit to show you if there is any ground…if so, just deal with it and then remind the accuser how you are perfect in Christ. Time has come to take a stand and not be blown around by every lie and innuendo the enemy chooses to launch at you.
