See Me, See The Father

Look To The Mountain

Beloved, you must look to the mountains from whence your help comes from and remember that I am not like any man. No, I am not like any man no matter how the enemy would like to use your past experiences and circumstances to convince you otherwise. When the past or present actions or words of others try and obscure My true nature, obscure who I am and what I am willing to do on your behalf, you must readjust your focus and get a clear picture of who I truly am.

There is none like Me even though many have tried to claim the honor. And there are none who can defame or affect My character by their actions and deeds. I have provided the way to overcome all misunderstanding of who and what I am. His name is Jesus, My most beloved Son who came to personify My heart.

Don’t think for a moment what I am saying only applies to the seriously abused and tattered of this life, and doesn’t apply to you in the little every day moments where you struggle to believe. Something or someone along the way has tainted a true perception of My nature and My absolute desire to give to those I love when they struggle to have faith in My goodness and mercy. It is this way for all My sons and daughters in some area or another. Time has come to uncover any hidden thing and set you free.

A clouding of My true nature takes place in the lives of MY sons and daughters from one end of the spectrum to the other, exhibited by varying shades of fear, doubt and unbelief. All fear, doubt and unbelief come in varying degrees of not knowing who I truly. Who am I? I am your Father who loves you more than life itself, more than the life of My Son. Look up, for your redemption draws nigh and salvation is manifesting in the fullness of its meaning—healing, deliverance, freedom . . . the beauty of who I am is unfolding before your very eyes. Look up.

Beloved, let every struggle, doubt, fear, or unbelief you face about the circumstances of your life become an opportunity to find out who I truly am. Let Me prove Myself strong on your behalf and disseminate any connection in your heart linking Me to the wrongful words, attitudes or actions of men. Know this; there is only one way to overcome lack of understanding about My complete and utter commitment to Fatherhood. The “Way” is Jesus who personified and demonstrated My heart to the point of death.

Fear Not, I Am The Lord Your God

Be encouraged; I am in the process of revealing Myself to you in a new and fresh way and will uncover the root of all wrong conceptions about who I am hidden within the depths of your heart. I want you close, so very close. So, open your heart to its fullest capacity, without reservation or adherence to the traditions of men and you will be amazed. All you ever need or want to know about Me was and is made flesh in Jesus.

You see, Beloved, if you have My Son in your heart and know Him, you know Me. You have access to all I am and all I have. He is the personification of who I am. If you have seen Him you have seen Me, your heavenly Father, for I am in Him and He is in Me. He, Himself said, “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father “(John 14:6-9, John 14:19-21). These are elementary truths but worthy of the reminder.

When you doubt who I am, read the Word and discover anew the beauty of My heart made flesh in My Son Jesus. I sent My Son to represent Me, showing the fullness of who I am. My Son represents the breadth of all My grace and goodness. His walk and life demonstrated My face; the face of a loving Father.

His life, His work continues on your behalf. He never tires or rests from the call of Love—nor do I. The very essence of your life is before Me today and every day to come. I have many doors just waiting for you to open. Look to the mountains of My heart from whence your help comes. Yes, help is coming to you today in real and practical ways. Reach out and receive.

You are My beloved, therefore, don’t be afraid to look into My face for you will not die, but rather be changed. Look into the true light of the Word. Look into the written expressed heart of My Son Jesus. Discover who He was and is—the same yesterday and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Everything you discover in the Word about My Son is a discovery about Me. I cannot be any plainer than this.

Once again, do not think this applies to those overcoming lives once subject to great difficulties and hardship. It applies to any area or place in your heart where the light of revelation has not yet penetrated. Examine your heart today and let Me uncover any hidden misconceptions. Sometimes it is easy for those who have known Me for a long time to forget to behold Me in the midst of My Word or forget to ponder the simple revelations of the Father’s Heart. Everyone needs a little milk now and then.

Daddy’s Heart

Hear Holy Spirit’s tender yet strong Words over your heart. Hear each and every Word He speaks. Hear each and every declaration He proclaims about My faithfulness—My good and kind intents toward you. For I, like My Son am gentle and humble in heart, yet quite capable of vanquishing your enemies. I execute judgment on injustice, yet I say mercy triumphs over judgment.

Beloved, change is yours every time you look into My face—every time you look into My Word. Take time to see Me through the lens of My Son and your image of Me will become clearer and clearer. Who I am will become so clear that after you look in the mirror and walk away, you will always remember. All tendencies toward being double minded will be defeated. All I need for you to do is discover who I am and agree. Remember, I am always present. Look up! (Matthew 11:29)

I not only wanted to be considered as your Father but I want to be considered your Daddy. I am the true representation of a daddy’s heart. I wanted to be Daddy so much I sent My Son to die that I might claim you as Mine. I know I have said these words over and over, but if you could see what I see in the lives of so many, as My eyes move to and fro across the earth, your heart would break. Therefore, I will say them as much as they need to be said until all My children know how much I love them, till you know how much I love you.

So many need to hear over and over to believe. So many do not have any concept of Father let alone Daddy. A daddy who scoops up his little ones just to hear them giggle. A daddy who aches—who longs to undo the pain in a child’s heart. A daddy who blows kisses across a crowded room and is not embarrassed. A daddy who has laughed so much, passionate lines are etched in his face. A daddy who would lay down his life and consider no sacrifice to big. Did you know I sometimes give you things just to hear your giggle with excitement, to see your smile light up your eyes?

Yes, I do all the things and more. I wanted you so badly I adopted you that I might father you (Ephesians 1:5). My heart is a nourishing heart expressing all the attributes of My nature and countenance. Dive in to the depths of Me and be clothed in garments of love and change.

I Am Enlarging Your Borders

You may at times feel weak and incapable of containing the fullness of such an intense relationship with Me, but don’t. Fear not for I am strong enough for both of us and quite able to sustain and keep you. I am well aware of how much to give and when in order for you to be able to ascertain and comprehend the immensity of My love. I know how to be both Father and Daddy. This is who I am and this is what I do—I love you.

Beloved, eyes have not seen and ears have not heard the magnitude of growth in the relationship with Me I have planned for you. As you move along in your walk with Me many surprises await you along the way. When you least expect it, revelations and understanding will bring you and I face to face and your path will be illumined.

Times you have spent with Me in bygone days are bearing fruit even though you might not remember them. I remember each and every one. I never forget. Open your heart to receive new and yet undiscovered realms of communion with Me. The door is open and you are welcome to come into the very depths of My habitation.

Yes, I am expanding your tent pegs, enlarging your borders to hold and experience more of Me. My heart melts at the sound of your name. Every time someone speaks your name I look to see if what they are saying is true and if not I defend you in ways not always discernable to the eye.

Know that I defend you; therefore trust in My goodness, which never changes. For “Goodness” and “Mercy” follow you all the days of your life (Psalms 23:6). Not only do I follow you with goodness and mercy, I also go before you and prepare the way. When you know goodness and mercy are following behind you and I am in front of you, there will be no fear. Where you are going, I have already been. The way is prepared. Let’s go (Isaiah 54:2).

Hold Nothing Back

Beloved, I am a good listener and My ear is always inclined to you. I don’t draw near just to listen but to also respond. I have set you apart for My glory right where you are. You can display My very nature no matter the situation or circumstance. Call on Me anytime, anywhere and don’t let anything deter you from doing so. I don’t require finely crafted speeches or lengthy religious prayers. More can be done by simply calling My name than you can ever know or imagine. Try Me and see.

Always be ready to share the renderings of your heart with Me. I am listening, poised like a bird on a ledge preparing for flight, waiting to hear your thoughts and prayers expressed. Share the good and the bad— your successes and your failures. Even though I already know each and every one, both good and bad, I long to hear you tell Me. This is relationship. This is communion.

When you share, remember to stop and listen for My answers of wisdom and words of love. I long to give in return. Mutual communication is necessary to cultivate trust—necessary ingredients of any deep abiding relationship.

Remember one thing most of all. I am your heavenly Father and it is a position that I love and cherish above all, for I delight in you, My precious child. Yes, I delight in you as I delight in My Son. If I didn’t the Cross would be of no consequence. I gave Him that you might see Me and be reunited with your destiny already present and abiding in My heart (Psalms 4:3, Psalms 85:8).

Prayer

Lord, I choose to quit looking down at the circumstances of life and I readjust my focus to look to You. You are my tower of strength at all times and remain faithful even when I am faithless. Help me not to let my past speak in such loud ways to my heart. This is a new day—a new day of revelation and truth. You have come to open the recesses of my heart that I might know You in a greater way. I draw near to You and You draw near to me. I let go of all my reservations.

Show me where any traditions of man cloud who You really are. Bring revelation and understanding to the Word when I read it. Open the eyes of my heart and let me see, let me see You. Lord, help me to hear, to see the beauty of my Father in all His fullness. Help me to see His “daddy” heart. For each and every time I gaze into His face, into the Word, I am changed.

Father, I embrace the full intensity of relationship with You. You have made a way in Jesus and I take full advantage of it. I abandon all fear and doubt to jump, like a small child jumps into the water when His father is standing with arms outstretched. You will not leave me nor forsake me. Each time I jump into deeper depths You will be there to hold and sustain me no matter what things look like. I may not be able to see to the bottom of the water at times but I can see You and I am content.

Reflect and Journal

“Before long, the world will not see Me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you. Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me. He who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him” (John 14:19-21 NIV).

  1. What specific areas in your past have clouded your perspective of Father’s true nature?
  2. Reflect on the areas of your life which need to have a readjustment of focus.
  3. Take some time to sit in His presence and let Him unfold a portion of His heart, His beauty and write what you see.
  4. Have you ever felt inhibited or prohibited from drawing close to the Father because of wrong perceptions of Him based on your own inconsistencies or lack of understanding about His true nature?
  5. Is there something you need to understand about the Father? Look to the Word and find what it says about Jesus in this area. You will then know what the Father is like, too.
  6. The Father, like Jesus, never rests or tires of working on your behalf. Reflect on this and write a love note of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving opens the heart to faith.
  7. What do you need to have changed in your heart, in the very core of your belief system? Take some time and look into the Word, look into His face during a time of worship and prayer. Listen carefully while letting Him touch you—change you.
  8. The opportunity for change exists each and every time you read the Word. What do you need to do to embrace this truth in practical ways each time you read the Word?
  9. Reflect on the Father’s intense desire for those He loves as His gaze moves to and fro across the earth. This includes you.
  10. Take some time to reflect on the Father watching you across a crowded room, across a crowded world as if you are the only one. Can you see Him blowing kisses of love and revelation to you?
  11. What do you need from Him? What places in your heart and your soul need to be kissed by His great love? Take time to receive and be changed.
  12. Are there any areas in your life where you feel your weakness holds you back or prevents you from experiencing an intense and full relationship with Him?
  13. Even now many things are coming to fruition in your life base of things you have done for Him in the past. Fruits of relationship with Him are coming into view. Reflect on this and take the time to receive regardless of what you are experiencing at this moment. It just might be the very thing you need to overcome right now.
  14. Reflect on the fact that He has already been where you are going. What does this mean to you?
  15. Take some time to reflect on the simplicity and power of just saying His name.
  16. Are there things you have held back from sharing with Him? He already knows all so you might as well share, good or bad. Nothing surprises Him and He is waiting to give you the answers.
  17. Imagine Him positioned like a bird for flight to come to you as the very whisper of His name. Reflect and respond.
