A Father Stamp Meditations By Apostle John Dean

Some men look the part of a father—but they are not—while other men don’t look the part of a father and are. Perhaps it would simplify things a bit if God would give us a clue as to what His thoughts are on the subject.

We could offer our thoughts on this subject, but it would probably come more from natural reasoning rather than from spiritual discernment.

Presumption, Meditation By Apostle John Dean

As a result of the floods and high water, the spot where I liked to dive in was now filled with sand. I did not check the depth of the water, but assumed nothing had changed since my last trip there. What I did not know was that the water was no longer six feet deep in that spot—as I had remembered—but was now two feet deep.

Ditch Beds And Park Benches Meditations By Apostle John Dean

If I’ve learned anything, it’s that all life experiences have character building value that is needed for our next step. What may seem difficult at the time usually turns out to be a valuable experience.

Using today’s glasses to appraise experiences that took place back in the 1940s is unfair to say the least. For that reason the thought that I’m sharing today is not for appraisal, but for praise. Since circumstances were much different back in the 40s than they are now—my story is not a unique one. Many men and boys of all ages experienced similar things.

OLD ORDER/NEW ORDER Meditations By Apostle John Dean

Several years ago the term old order became popular among the up and coming ‘stars’ of the kingdom. If someone wanted to do things the way they had done them in the past they were considered to be old order. Otherwise, they could get run over by the new order people.

The One Room School By Apostle John Dean

Our teacher drove back and forth from town where she and her husband lived. She was probably the kindest and most patient lady I had ever met. She must have had a divine call from God to teach in that school at that particular time. I am sure the Lord sent her there just for me. The things I learned from her I cherish to this day. I especially influnced by the light of her life. lessons learned in a one room school house

The Father Anointing By Apostle John Dean

After pondering the comments and heart cry of the other speakers I soon realized that old age and white hair does not make one a father. I felt the Lord tell me that the anointing to be a true spiritual father is a gift from God. The father anointing gift is no less important than the gift to be a prophet, evangelist or shepherd. In other words, they have the same high level of importance as the five gifts listed in Ephesians 4:11 where it says that some are called to be apostles, some prophets, some pastors, some evangelists and some teachers.
