Seeds, Weeds And Gardens

Word of the Day
Beloved you are one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever been in. It’s an absolute joy for Me to hang out in your garden!  Your soil is better than you know and believe because I’ve placed it in you for you have been adopted and have sonship through the blood. Abide deeply in the soil of salvation with a thankful heart and give Me access…complete access to your whole garden from end to end.

My precious child, at times you have allowed the enemy to sow seeds (weeds) of pain and lies in your garden. Because of the lies, you have built fences around these weeds as if they were cherished.  This should not be so!  Clinging to weeds brings death!  If you let Me, I will pull down those fences and pull up all the weeds based on lies, deceptions, hurt and wrong mindsets.  After all, I am the Master Gardner and am well able to pull up the weeds root and all, leaving nothing to spring up again.

Weeds drain much needed resources from the soil; resources the good…the beautiful plants of love, peace, joy, rest, forgiveness and abundant living need in order to flourish and bear good fruit.  These weeds must go NOW, Beloved!  Allow Me greater access for I am intent on pulling up the weeds one by one.

As I pull up all weeds, the colors of the good plants…the gifting I have put in you, will deepen for they are not robbed by rejection, shame and guilt. Shame, guilt and rejection act like dense clouds blocking the sun which prevents much needed nutrients from being absorbed by the one in need.

However, this is not to be so with you. Even now, you are coming alive with vibrant color. The buds of your garden are opening fully and fruit is being produced right before My very eyes as I marvel at your garden.  Clouds are parting and the Son is shining on you. And guess what? This is not just for you. All fruitfulness is to be shared and shared liberally.

I am now causing the good flower of love to germinate other gardens near you so others in your life may bear good fruit as well. They will sow seeds of love back into your garden and into others. And the cycle will complete itself over and over until My Kingdom…My garden is established in and on the earth.

Beloved, the plants and flowers you now see have emerged from seeds sown before the foundations of the earth. Just as I sowed those seeds, trust that I am continually sowing into you, My precious garden!  Rejoice and expect new growth daily!  Take time each day with Me to enjoy the breathtaking beauty I cause to grow in your life.  Every vibrant color and every pleasing fragrance comes from Me and it is My good pleasure to give them to you.  I am doing and will continue to do a good work in you until the day when we will see each other face to face.  Until then, rest!

A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit a hundredfold. (Luke 8:5-8 KJV)

 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. They on the rock [are they] , which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of [this] life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep [it], and bring forth fruit with patience. (Luke 8:11-15 KJV)
 
Prayer
Father, I thank You for calling me Your beautiful garden!  Knowing this is how You view me brings great peace and joy to my heart!  I invite You, the one and only Master Gardner, to dwell in my garden. I will not hide behind the fig leaves of my own making. I come out in the open and give you access to all I am…the good…the bad…and the ugly, for I am beautiful to you regardless.

Come, water and feed the good flowers of love and peace. Pull up the weeds of death and discord the enemy has sown in my life. Show me all open doors where I have by my own choices allowed a way for the enemy to sow with liberty his lies and pain.

Thank You for uprooting all the lies that I have believed about myself, about others and even about You.  May the winds and words of Truth keep the enemy’s seeds from ever entering my garden again. I pray that You will continue to turn the soil of my heart making it good, fertile soil.

I purpose in my heart to seek Your face each day and make way for You to water and feed my garden with words of edification and encouragement…words which you so liberally long to whisper in my heart.  I look forward to our time together when I will take in all the beauty that is Your creation.  Help me not to become too busy to dwell with You.  I know one thing, as I willingly expose myself to much Son Light, I will be drawn closer to You and that’s exactly where I long to be!  Amen.

Reflect and Journal
1. What lies from the enemy have you allowed to grow and flourish in your heart? What have you believed about yourself that has impacted your relationship with God?  About others? About God Himself?

2. Beloved, when a seed is planted even in the best soil, it takes time before a plant emerges. It’s all part of a process. What effect will this knowledge have on your expectations and your willingness to wait without growing weary? Will you stand when there is nothing left to do but stand knowing full well you will reap in due season?

3. Take time to quiet your spirit and visualize yourself as a garden. Focus on the flowers of love. What do they look like?  What colors manifest in the eyes of your heart?  Inhale the sweet fragrance.  Visualize the seeds of love being taken up by the breeze and carried off to the fertile grounds of your loved ones, friends, coworkers, etc.  Reflect on how this germination process is manifested in the natural.  Journal what you see.
